nobody on the stage got 'owned' by eric johnson... he played an awesome solo, but that solo also isn't for everyone. buddy guy, bb king, junior wells and koko taylor own everyone on the stage because they were there when it was getting started, i know they weren't there with robert johnson but they made it known and brought the music to the masses and are still doing it(bb and buddy that is)

Wow... I remember my grandmother calling me over to watch this on PBS way back in '93. I just started playing guitar and my g-ma and I loved B.B. King. When I saw this jam, and B.B. introduced EJ, I was just blown away! His phrasing was just mind blowing to me! Such great progressive blues licks! It wasn't until '96 that I was reintroduced to EJ's music. A friend gave me "Tones" and I was hooked after that! EJ rules!!!
