@malcommerriweather Because they didnt use the same "cheese" product for the commercial, it was a staging material (prop "cheese" formula used during the filming of the commercial) which was probably some combination of corn starch, water and some food coloring. Ever seen that internet video with corn starch mix jumping on a speaker system? That's the stuff...

Yikes, their dead Mom is back on the stereo! This will scare the B-Jesus out of young viewers on Saturday mornings! Was this the way to have an answering machine back then? I recall when you get on the internet by using a telephone wire on the wall (the landlines) anyways. +
