fuck this movie fucking nazi punks i still trahsed these fuckers around everybody that saw this movie thought that all punkers acted the same way as the movie fucking stereotypes ignorant people
it was the 80s unlike today nobody gave a shit back then who you were or what you loved my dad had metalhead friends back in 1985 who wore swastica crap and other dangerous shit, it was about being an out of control rebel some of them were not even real nazis just the baddest and and the most fun fueled teens. People freak out way too fast
this movie was good , but i disliked the fact that they where neo naizs , NAZI punks fuck off!!! and yea this was the wrong impresson on punk , surbubia is better
Unless I'm mistaken, when I went to a "punk" concert, up to 1984, we beat the sh** out of each other while the women danced to the side. I could say we all looked like mindless thugs if you pointed a camera at us but it was, for the most part, people just having fun. Lot's o' people from lot's of backgrounds. Anyways, living on the west coast, Teenage Head was good stuff coming out of Ontario...
There were obviously a few real punks in this scene who weren't actors, and Teenage Head was a real band... but Tim Van Patten in his new wave get-up would have gotten his ass handed to him in the real deal back then. Still, funny movie in a cheap gratuitous 80's T&A kind of way.
Yeah, 1982. Typical Hollywood take on what they though punk was back then... a bunch of mindless violent thugs, which unfortunately it kind of became later on. I was a punk back then and thought this movie was stupid but funny, definitely not an accurate representation of what punk really was.

I hated this movie when it first came out because I was punk rock then and it was for the most part a misrepresentation.
Plus kids were listening to Hardcore in 84' not 77-ish stuff (thats no knock on Teenage Head, they were a great band)

Back in the days, the punks were the worst subculture and were made responsible for nearly all problems of the youth.

"Class of 1984" was one of my favorite gang movies from the 80s. The violence in this film was equal to the violence in "The Warriors."
