@boomstickman71 I'm pretty sure the US army has plenty of liberal supporters among its ranks, and I remember during the most recent election debates it emerged that not only did nearly as many democrat candidates own guns as republicans did, the correlation was based on location rather than anything else, IE Southern politicians being more likely to own fire arms than northerners. Personally I've nothing against gun ownership, as long as said guns are safely stored and well maintained.

Those men didn't write it for all other nations, but was a proclamation of the values that would lead this nation. Other nations don't believe in our Constitution so certainly aren't held by any of the principles. A nuclear weapon in our hands is not for offense, but for defense and keeping us safe. Iran on the other hand, would use nukes for offense.

In other words, a literal interpretation of the Bible as the final authority on religious matters. Which doesn't leave much room for debate on issues that need to be debated.
But there really isn't any such thing as a literal interpretation--just alternative interpretations--so who knows what she really believes.
