@knockerdoctor i agree with some of the things you say but fls can class the same sounds as reasons,its not the software its the person who using the software om how his sounds turn out trust me! both softwares are different.FLS you can create anything from scratch with or without the use of a midi keyboard but in reason i think you have to use a midi keyboard to input sounds and or use pre made song samples to chop beat up and pattern it but remember that in reason you cant export your song

@5m1nutes im not very experienced with either.. but i have both of them and from what i've gathered reason is a much more enjoyable program. It has a 'real' quality feel to it.. fl studio feels like a cheap.. i dont know.. it just doesnt have the quality feel that reason has. HOWEVER reason is quite a bit more complex than FL Studio and will take much more time to master even a fraction of what it has to offer :S thats what i can tell you from an unexperienced point of view. hope it helps ;)
