On a hill, the front end is so light. The front wheel drive isn't going to benefit much. Perhaps if the rid stood or at least moved as far forward as possible to get some weight on the front wheel.
@RocketBurn11 nothing better than gears and a manual clutch. owned many in my day. the rokon is automatic so the rider can concentrate on the type of terrain that it is made for. thanks for watching
im looking to buy a rokon, is there a website i can go to, im having a bit of trouble finding a website that sells one. i need for when i hit the trails when i hunt, cause down in the lowcountry theres always some deep mud in your way and not always away around it,
@motorhead1 the noise you hear is the belt coming to a fast halt and the clutch still spinning..makes a dull screech ...the camera man sais uh oh because he thinks im gonna flip over bkwards backing down...the hill is alot steeper than it looks...thanks for commenting/
@Lukedawg1984 yeah with speed you could jump at the top...if i had the drum rims and had them full of water/gas it probaly wouldnt have even spun....thanks for comment
@Lukedawg1984 you sure can...about $800...also you can leave them empty and float it on its side ,,,sounds impossable but true,, there is a vid of that on you tube...i will try to send it to you...thanks
I have a 2004 Trailbreaker. I've had some trouble with spinning tires too. Loose soil or exposed roots will cause tire spinning. It's minor to me because I don't need to go to extremes to go where I want but, like you, I want to test it out. I've gone into some thick stuff to retrieve deer and friends with no problems. If your area has few trails the Rokon is perfect for getting anywhere. (almost)
2-This is just a demonstration... I've seen much more damage done by dirtbikes AND 4 wheelers. Typically Rokons do not spin their wheels unless it is VERY steep or VERY soft, but most dirtbikes will spin easily and 4 wheelers with a solid rear axle spin everytime they turn a corner... Just following a dirtbike will generally get dirt thrown in your face but you can follow a Rokon fairly close no problem...
@Mackay1911 RokonDealer is right. Rokons are normally very good on the terrain, due to the fact that they're 2wd, and the fact that they use huge wide tractor tires which spread their weight (which is actually quite little considering their size!) out. They barely leave a trace at all for the most part. I'm all for being considerate of the land (I ride dirtbikes, 4-wheel in my Bronco, etc) but lighten up dude! I'm not even sure why you felt the need to make that comment to be honest!
@Mtrhd0024 Well said ,rokons tread very lightly..................and further more mackay1911 shouldnt run his mouth off without getting his comment straight first. thanks for watching ,and sticking up for rokon.
All you need to get up that hill easier is tractor-type tires like 4 wheeler ITP 589's.

The only thing that would make this any better is if it had a normal motorcycle transmission with more gears and a clutch.

Why does the Rokon make that noise at the end of your 3rd attempt up the hill? The camera guy says "oh oh."

Maybe if you werent trying to ride it like a dirt bike you would have made it up the first try. Me thinks you werent in the right gear for that hill.

@GearNutz400 Thats the only gear that will climb a hill that steep.......and that hill is much steeper than it looks, and very loose.

Way to tear up the hillside. It is dumbasses like this that get the rest of us guys who run dirtbikes and enduros kicked off of public lands.
What a jackass.
