All I can say is this. In my area, there is this "idea" that if Jesus is God, then there is no trinity. This idea is called Apostolic, or Jesus Only, or Jesus Name doctrine, if it can be called a doctrine. They will claim Jesus is the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost, which is close, but not biblical. If Jesus is the Father, how can He sit at the right hand of the Father? So they baptize in the name of Jesus, not the father, nor the son, or the Holy Spirit (Ghost). False in my opinion

Thank you so much. I just discussed this with a preacher, and I was almost convinced to go the route, until you gave those scriptures I cling to so strongly. Jesus only is a doctrine out of ignorance. They do not understand that the Word of God is complete, and to claim Jesus only is to claim the Old Testament was not inspired of the same LORD.
