I had this bike a couple of months ago and I'm 13 but I'm 6ft 1" and 190 lbs but I upgraded to 450f

They do have a decompress lever on them they r a great bike I have one and love it best bike I have ever rode good trail bike or hill climbing bike very fast and will stands up in all gears if u want it to

seems way to easy to kick. Is there a decompression release? I am thinking of getting one of these bikes, is it a good buy?

dude only just turned 15 and im an average height for my age and i get on alright... havent gone out for ages but i started it up yesterday and its fine... first kick everytime mate just gotta take care of it and it'll be fine...

i have this exact same bike and im 5ft 9 and 140 lbs and ill let it sit all winter and it will start up first kick without the compression release lever o and i am usually wearing flip flops to! :)

I'm 5'8'' tall and the height is perfect. I don't get to ride very often, and mine sits for months at a time. Always starts on First or Second kick.

Looks like it has no compression..

It looks like it has no compression because he's pullings the compression release lever to get the piston to the top over the motor before he kicks it this is the only way this bike will start if the piston is in thewrong place wile kicking it it will give you a nasty kick back to the leg

man, i have a BIG problem on my XR400 bike... while tightening the bolt of the Oil filter cap it broke. Do you guys know how can i remove the remaining thread inside?thanks man..

@LedZeppe I let my bro change the oil on my 400ex and he did the same thing...I took it to a machine shop and had them get it out...after that I bought a torque wrench and never let him touch it again...

@dmaheryfz450 i've got an xr350 and it basically feels the same and thats because everytime you go to kick it the first click you hear is actually a decompression trigger and it opens the valves allowing air to escape the cylinder and kick easier
