I heard the waltz wasn´ very popular in victorian england, compared to europe. ???
Charles dickens spoke of other dances: menuett quadrlle...no waltz (ca 1837)
The waltz replaced the minuet, in popularity. It was known in 1837 but it was not popular until the mid 19th century. Quadrilles (Square dances) were popular throughout the 19th century.
useful instructions! super5!
