Regional 179! I have an entire deck of tickets from that train! Once you learn how to sleep on Amtrak, it's a great way to go. If you can't sleep, then they sell beer.

You really caught the "feel" of a late night meet at speed. Looks like the Acela's cars are near full tilt on the curve. Do you know if that is so? ...or, for that matter, does the tilt show enough to be seen standing where you were?

This is a great video. Nice job. With the frequency and speed of those trains, you could almost imagine it was Europe. It appeared that the second AEM-7 locomotive adjusted his beams to "superbright." I wonder if the headlights have variable settings.

First of all, it was clean. This was the first time I used this camera to take a video. Actually anything. This was the same night that I bought it. I even cleaned it with a cloth. And if u decided to take a look at the ground you will notice its raining. And I dont think it interfered with the video that much.
