No, please DO try this at home kids. Stay off the freaking bikes & ATVs that kill and seriously injure so many kids every year. Skateboards are freaking insane! Nobody has ever died on a Flat Top and only one crazy RedBull pilot has ever been injured. This is by far the safest extreme sport to have your kids doing. I highly encourage my kids to do this over every other option out there.
I see you've found a way to solve the flying for those who are afraid of heights issue. I too get nosebleeds if I fly over 50'. You do take it to a new low, however!
Love the weed pickup. You're nuts! But a good kind of nuts...
Thanks for that, fat bush tires are very tolerant of being dipped, you can ski with Ag aircraft reasonably safely. Dip a little too far though and you are in. That was the direction of my pitch Dell.
Yes I have been in numerous times. It isn't that big of a deal. You flare as hard as you can and if you doesn't life you out it will at least bring you to pretty much a complete stop. Danger is danger though, if people don't like the risk then they should just stay home with mommy:).
No problem, remember it is Powered Skydiving only. Do that in another sport and yes you could be in a world of hurt. In Powered Skydiving where all the instructors & equipment are certified you just don't see problems like that.
Part of your attitude I like, you are positive and enthusiastic, that's good. The other side really isn't I'm afraid. If you HIT the water at those speeds THOSE things will happen ace.
I didn't mention the Risk and Reward video, you did. As for experience, an interesting comment. How would you know?
Stay alive, just pop it up a bit and trust me, water is like concrete when you hit it fast.
I have hit the water numerous times and those things DON'T happen. I know from experience that you don't have the experience doing what I do. If you want to know the risks then you need to ask someone like me who actually knows what they are.
If you hit the water at the speeds you are flying at a number of things are going to happen. With no shoulder harness you will be thrown forward at a considerable speed, you will break or lacerate your arms in the area of the biceps, you may even loose one or both of them. Which means you cannot release your lapstrap even if you are conscious from the whiplash that you will sustain.
Risk versus reward. Stay alive to enjoy the rest of your life....
Lol, did you watch the video? I did hit the water and nothing happened. Stay away from the USPPA because they don't have the experience needed to give you decent information. Throw your R&R video in the trash can and get with some real pilots that have experience in the real world. If the motor dies I will stall the wing and land in the foot deep water at almost a complete stop with the glider acting as a drag chute behind me. If you don't have experience, don't give advice:).
Take a couple weeks minimum to really learn to fly properly. The very best equipment on the market is only about $15,000 total. Get started now, no need to wait.

awesomecomedy12 1 year ago
@awesomecomedy12 It's easy to fly if you get the right equipment and training. There is no age limit at all.

awesomecomedy12 1 year ago

Doesn't matter much at that altitude and how he fly's that thing: also would be easier egress for when he ditches it in the water.

The video makes your explanation of the takeoff technique more simple to understand.
Maybe do some touch and goes with the video to see the technique involved.
The weightshift is obvious and effective.
Good work
