Im not trying to be rude and a know it all but i dont think your suppose to let your horse start walking when your mounting but i dont know i always get yelled at whenever im riding one of the horse at the barn i go to. I guess it is a bad habbit for the horse.Again im not trying to sound like a know it all.

i bet the dressage ring is frustrating but how about being the only jumper in a barn full of dressage people. I only have to jumps and i have to put the up when i get there and take the mdown and outside the arena into a storage room whe ni'm done. :( it really sucks.

It's just a loose loop tied around his neck and she moves it side to side (neck reins) to steer but it's much more of a subtle touch than anything on his face.
