  • this guy just sounds so excited about life.

  • I love dolphins... Just check my nick

  • Hwo could anyone not love these beautiful, sweet creatures!?

  • Dolphins are neat animals I think.

  • if i ever had to be reincarnated into an animal. i hope i become a dolphin or a whale. O.o

  • Dolphins also never leave one of their own behind

  • OMG!

  • Darwin!!!

  • What time of year was this!?

i was in Bora Bora in late December-early January and I didn't see anything like this!

But TONS of sharks-because they feed them.

And the swell from the ocean is nothing like I've ever felt.

  • I like sharks more

  • Nice footage but Rangiroa is ONE not two hours flight NORTH-EAST not north of Tahiti. How about some accuracy, scientists ?

And dontcha just love the way he says "we emerge filled with exhilaration" like his mother just died ?

  • No aquarium, no tank in a marine land, however spacious it may be, can begin to duplicate the conditions of the sea. And no dolphin who inhabits one of those aquariums or one of those marine lands can be considered normal.

    Jacques Yves Cousteau

  • dolphins put themselves in contact with sharks just to play?? O.o

  • @scardota They are in little, if any danger. Dolphins can kill a shark, as easily as you break a nail.

  • @virgoblackx ohh that's cool...i didnt know that :)

  • IT seema i found a friend .. lol

  • It was good but could of been better could of should of

  • Dolphins the BEST XD

  • What an amasing dive!

HOW can I get a job like this!?!!

  • "and keep in mind...there are hundreds of sharks". /jumps in water o.o

"being that deep with a lot of sharks is strangely relaxing". O.O

  • "and remember, down below, are hundreds of sharks"...(2 seconds later white man jumps in with no clothes)

  • Excellent video, thanks for sharing it

  • It would be so cool to drive there but I would probably get rapid heart beats because I have never dove with sharks.

  • I was there diving some months ago. Most important : THESE sharks are RIFFSHARKS. There is no reason why they should attack you. Noone would dive where white sharks are in the water . You also would not assume all birds are the same....

  • Ok.

I have probably been surfing where there were some sharks but not harmful sharks.

  • well you gotta have a backbone to dive with sharks.. I think they kinda restrict girl diving to smaller fish gold fish diving or aquariums n such just advice

  • @vtecivicsib18

Diving with sharks isn't dangerous, except if the waters have been chummed, just use some sense and respect them. Heck most sharks species have never attacked humans, ever, and for the few that have, it's 99.99% of the time mistaken identity, and those mistakes just don't happen when diving. (the remaining 0.01% is mainly in rivers such as the ganges, where sharks have learned that human bodies are food, bull sharks account for most shark attacks, because they go up rivers).

  • i dont care what anyones says dolphins are the best always

  • aww here is a cup of skittles and there is a rainbow at the end freak

  • @namtar223 You are such a fairy.. Oh ya, the best always.. LOL@U #surmom

  • There's like two dolphin leaps in this whole video. I'm sick of documentaries that are 90% crew hogging the camera and talking about the animal behavior they're supposed to be showing. Give me wildlife footage with non-disruptive narration over it, please. Save the people footage for the "making of" special.

  • just turn of the music :P

  • i agree

  • I agree with this little chipmunk

  • sometimes i wonder what would be worse if i had to choose between running over an innocent animal or a human.........i don't know what would be worse, beings the majority of human beings i meet these days are cold-hearted, manipulative, "me first" pricks........i think that animals may act on instinct, where they may kill while not knowing they're doing something wrong, while humans on the other hand kill, knowing that they're doing something wrong, and enjoy it! i may have to run over the human

  • If nature had a moto, that moto would prrobably be "me first".

  • Well put. I'm thinking about making a bumper sticker that says, "me first". Bumper sticker are so trashy though. Maybe a shirt with "me first!!!" on the back of it. It would be funny to see how many idiots want to get ahead of me after reading my shirt, lol. I'm to the point now where I basically have to numb myself just to go out in public, where I'm surrrounded by shallow, perspective-lacking "mediocrytes". Sorry for the book. Just wanted to say that I like your thought on nature's moto :-)

  • Haha cheers. They might be shallow etc, but who can blame them...the moral expectations we put on our own species are just a moral construct...of course we're shallow...it's only natural. Of course i don't agree with people being pricks, but still.

  • This is a great video. I was hoping for a shark and dolphin to go at it, but the beauty and commentary made this video worth it.

  • very nice video

  • 5 star video!

  • Am i the only one who thinks sometimes we attach too many human characteristics to dolphins? i mean they're animals just like any other.

  • I agree with u. We trust them too much too. People talk about dolphins like they are toys. But in the end they are wild animals.

  • Dolphins are some of the most intelligent creatures around; they may even be smarter than we are. They probably think the same thing about you that you think about them.

  • We humans are dump creatures on the face of the world.

We're still not able to be part of the nature without harming it.

  • oh they do? well, it's just amazing because though they are wild animals they could easily adapt and somehow be friendly to people.

  • Its because they are always smiling so people assume they are benevolent....not to mention Flipper was smarter than Lassie

  • @Aspioni Flipper was smarter than Chuck Norris!

  • @Aspioni what are you trying to say?

  • hats off to them i say, if a dolphin are any sea creature came into our area (land) we would all be a bit bemused, but they see to be fine with us exploring there world with them, i dont think humans would be so welcoming, we would probably shoot them like the arseholes we are

  • what are humans? just animals too

  • yeah but do you see a deer petting a rat? no

  • if thats what defines animal for you, your probably even lose than an animal

  • no no you idiot that's not what i meant. the initial comment was that i thought humans attach too much emotions to animals when they're wild, and you said humans are just animals too, so i replied that no other animal pets and domesticates other animals. Your last comment is so unrelated to anything i've said i'm just gona stop replying to you cuz you sound like a slow but sure waste of time.

  • Yes, you are correct that too many people anthropomorphize other animals. And yes, humans are Metazoans (of the animal kingdom). However, dolphins are obviously intelligent compared to most other animals.

They are malicious (if you've seen them toy with jellyfish), and they love examining other animals. If you've seen the whole Japan dolphin thingy, they are very interested in humans, even if it means a pitchfork in the forehead. Their intelligence isn't exactly deniable

  • No, humans can think, and are not completely ruled by instincts. Maybe your an animal, not me

  • so your not an animal? probably your not part of nature

ok, hold your breath for 10 minutes and talk to me about this again

  • "humans can think" that is debatable.

  • Very interesting diving spot, one more last standed paradise....Hava E Rangiroa.

  • nice video, I wanna go to that atol some time

  • wow thats awsome

  • I dunno what it is about shark videos, but they scare the s out of me. I mean I've seen people tussle with bears, and i dunno, sharks just don't rub me the right way. Awesome video. I don't think I could ever dive in that kinda place.

  • that was a brill vid =] x x Thanks

  • amazing video!

    thanks for posting...

    check out my dophin vid!

  • 0:28 That guy sure look grumpy...

  • yeah if we could speak to dolphins we'd probably enjoy life more lol

  • Excellent video. Were those dolphins talking at the end? It sounded like a complex form of communication

  • That pass drift was awsome!

  • Lol those dolphins are such camera whores xD this is totaly wild! i cant wait till im older to do this kind of stuff!

  • I love dolphins so much! and sharks! and whales ! and fishies =D i must go there its beautifull

  • I have to go there! :D

  • They are trying to tell us something

    lets learn their language

    lol

  • Thanks for sharing! I get there in Rangiroa, i met those dolphins it's incredible and unforgettable! If you are a diver go there at least one time in your life

  • cocos island too, its a paradise!

  • When the dolphin buzzed the diver did you hear how he repeated the same sounds twice. I think the dolphins want to communicate but we need to learn their language.

  • truly amazing video...thank you very much for giving me the chance to see what you saw down there

  • i THINK THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST EXPIERIENCES A HUMAN CAN HAVE. IM SO JEOLOUS OF YOU GUYS

  • WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING?

  • Breathtaking. I'll stick to watching the film though because I'm made of meat.

  • Wow! I'll have to go diving here!

  • luv dolphins..........there is this man on youtube that likes eating them nd has cum up wiv loads of bullshit y he has the right to eat them.

  • eat everything else but not dolphins?

  • sharks boo but dolphins yay i like the picture at the end and where did you get that musc?

  • no sharks are being killed and are almost extinct so i think they deserve a little more respect

  • Super cool suff (well if you aren't afraid of sharks and dolphins)

  • tough job!!!

  • most beautiful animals in the ocean !! these dolphins !!! (L)

  • Tolerance rules wild life? notice the sharks and dolphins are never in sight of each other, the dolpins kill sharks to defened their young, and sharks have easyer prey, so the avoid each other.

  • Very true. Just like how lions and zebras will share a water hole, then, go back their respecive posts fighting again. Organisms compete, its what we do.

  • Tolerance rules wild life. Shouldn´t we civilized people learn a bit from it?

  • Although the clip shows just a moment of co-existence, in my time in the water I have witnessed untold times of complete ruthlessness and no sympathy. Of animals and even schools ripped to pieces by voracious predators. However I agree that we humans should be more civilized.

  • i love dolphins

  • Whales and dolphins need help n o w. Their future will be decided by the end of may.

    Therefore please go to

    stopbloodywhaling

Take Action / Stand up & be counted

    Thank you

  • My favorites!Dolphens and Sharks rule!Great footage.

  • You've got to be crazy to get near a bunch of sharks.

  • Good job guys!

  • very awsome!!

  • awsome video

  • that was kwel

  • Awesome.

  • Wow. I often see dolphins playing in the bow waves of our vessels when speed is reduced for whatever reason.

  • Great video. Thanks for showing us the wonderful ocean creatures at Rangiroa. What an experience diving there must be!

  • that was beautiful, but don't most dolphines and sharks get along , so long an the shark doesnt threaten the Pod?

  • no matter how much you payed me, there's no way I'd get that close to a shark!

  • that was cool!!
