Australians use a £sd currency which is hard to calcuate and also use Imperial system of measurement like pound and inch, also hard to calcuate. USA still use the Imperial system of measurement.

But today most people in Australia just buy an artificial christmas tree from K-Mart or Big W, in Australia if you want an authentic tree there are plantations that specially grow pine trees to sell at christmas time but that is a more expensive option.
I knew that Australia celebrates Christmas. But what I didn't know until recently was that because of Australia's location in the world, it's celebrated in the Summer instead of winter like it is in North America. Merry Christmas!
