@FSBass i dont just like sludge metal but all types of music except rap and hip hop cant stand that crap if you plan on buying a gretsch baritone i would suggest swapping pickups for something a little more hotter i am in the process of doing this now other than that this guitar is perfect for sludge,stoner metal and country and bluegrass
