If you flair that much in a real Skycatcher, you are going to scrape the new ventral tail that they have put on them. Hold the nose level and let it settle in.
I use the simulator extensively to add to my flight training. For years pros have used simulators, esp. for big aircraft. I fly in sim using highest realism settings, yoke, pedals, with real weather, real charts, and real nav use. It's not easy to land a jet properly, even in Flight sim if the settings are set to max. Sim practice helps a LOT with the real training and is very useful.
Agreed, flying on a sim is nothing compared to flying an actual airplane. But when it comes to getting familiar with instruments, gauges, avionics, etc., it can actually help a student learn much quicker and easier.
flight-simming literally taught me to fly. im currently taking lessons at my local AP, and am amused to see how easy it is when you already know everything. i played FS9 for a few years before taking lessons, and it does really help.
so think what you want to think about simulators, but i think they're a great learning tool.
here on youtube are so much "flying" vids but only with flight simulator....well, you don't need to have good skills to fly a cessna in the sim....in real you have to manage the atc, etc....
and you realize that you can crash every second ;) but i think that won't happen^^ in the sim you can practise a 60 knots crosswind-landing and when you crash it doesn't matter, just try again....you just cant compare the sim with the realize, although the sim looks real, not bad.
@herriho Well actually, you can do like I have ...adjust the settings to the max for realism, and also fly on VATSIM (for ATC). This "does" aid in keeping you in practice. I'm a real-world pilot and use FSX all the time!
good thing planes arent made with lead paint and dog food, to be honest the only thing that bothers me about cessna making this plane in china is the fact that the people working in the factorys probably are ether not paid or paid very little with horrable working conditions
There is no such thing as FS 2006... This model is only available in my simulator... try to look around on the internet, you might find one for FSX...
@sfxmann Actually FSX is FS2006 Its just referred to as FSX which is FS (10) FS9 was FS 2004. Its all the same thing its just what public took on for the name. But most downloads can be found under FSX not fs 2006. So your both right and wrong on that subject.
Ya I think your right Honechky im in training to be a pilot and when I turn 17 and get my licence this is the plane i want. If I get in it for the first time and the engine explodes I might be a little mad. Im tired of all theys items coming from chine. Nice video !!4 stars!!
Cessna decided to make this aircraft in China! It's a sad day in aviation, All pilots need to stand up and boycott Cessna. They decided it was more important to save money with cheap labor, look at all the problems this past year with goods make in China, toys with lead paint, dog food that killed dogs, the list goes on.
Fucking sim bullshit.

Sorry, but FSX doesn't cut it... We're looking for factual encounters, not what your video card(s) can simulate.

@VENOMOH : it's not FSX though...

Yeah, but you gotta admit landing a Dodo in the middle of a highway in Las Venturas is so fun.

in the simulator you can do everything, and everybody can be a pilot ... maybe only 10 % could fly a real cessna instead of this simulator-crap,
it's fun to fly in the sim though, but i prefer to fly real.

thats the point ;)

dude you're retarded
sims are great for navigation practice
and flying a cessna is extremely easy
that's why the majority of private pilots earn their certificate with cessnas
where did you get the 10% statistic anyway?
dumbass
