  • Eradicate the fascists....revolution will grow

  • prepared, my bad.

  • If you want a revolution, be prepare to give up your own blood.

  • hmmm....the message of 15 years ago, is very relevant currently. occupy! let's take our country back and kick the evil elite out...all the way back to hell! SPEAK!

  • FUCK THE SYSTEM!!!!!!!

  • VEVO! Why the hell would you put Selena Gomez next to a video of Queensryche?? You're asking me to give up rock and roll for THIS?!?!?

  • badass song luv ths song always will

  • wicked mullets and acid wash jean jackets. still a classic.

  • Geoff Tate in this video looks bit like Christopher Walken :)

  • @TheMad0gamer ahaha. yes

  • well the song is speak and the lyrics repeat speak the word alot. i look over and i see an ad for jennifer lopez. so i guess what i'm supposed to do now is say "HO"?

  • My thumbs down would be for the emimusic commercials here. The band is fine.

  • I'm curious if anyone else is aware that this album was meant to be the soundtrack to a rock opera along the lines of Tommy? Back in 1988, when it was released, was during a time when people were caught up in the craze of the possibility of someone taking over by using subliminal messages and other nefarious means. That is what prompted Chris DeGarmo and Geoff Tate to write it.

  • REACH THE POINT OF BORDEM... SPEAK!!!

  • DeGarmo and Wliton were lethal!

  • I'm the one person to dislike this. Let the clique 1 person is a jackass comments commence!

  • love this song! (:

  • OMG! Operation Mindcrime, best album of all time!!!!

  • Loving how this video has next to nothing to do with the song....and how Britney Spears is just lurking at the side of the page....

  • kickass beat...luv to blast this CD on a long drive

  • yeah, this isnt anti government or anything...*eye roll* lol

  • @johnzarcone neither are particularly complex but revolution calling would probably be a little mroe difficult. This one is based around a fairly straight forward 1/4 note pattern

  • Scott is bad @ss in all of them

  • is the drumming harder for this or eyes of a stranger

  • This is a communist song????!!!!

Hello - it's a concept album about a reviolutionary movement. Sure the underlying principle of the album is anti establishment but the actual over-text (if you wnat to call it that ) is a story.

  • More than 20 I've been following them and they still ROCK love the music love the band. Not all about love and seeeexxxx.

  • Whitehouse period

  • VEVO! How dare you put justin beiber's face next to a video of queensryche! Are you asking to be smitten by all the gods of olympus, asgard and heaven combined?!?!?!

  • Very good and special music!!

    I love Queensryche.

  • I recommend googling up Gulen Charter Schools, obama muslim adviser gulen, tucson weekly hidden agenda, spead the word. 150 charter schools ran by this group and growing..........

  • And...this song, like all good songs, got us thinking and discussing things that are valuable to us. :)

  • I absolutely LOVE the intro.

  • I love this band, but I hate how everyone thinks DeGarmo is better than Wilton. If you watch the videos, all your favorite solos are in fact Wilton. DeGarmo was the songwriting mastermind, and when he left, Queensryche's sound left with him. It's time you bastards gave Wilton some love though, because DeGarmo doesn't give a shit, while Wilton is still around kickin' it for the Ryche! Even though millions of fans wish DeGarmo came back, he'd rather fly fatasses around the country.

  • Queensryche is such an awsome band. I love how Digarmo and Wilton share solo`s sometimes, they`re both lead guitarists. Tate is the man!!!!

  • loli i can listen to this over and over!

  • This video and song is pure genious!!!!!!! BURN the whit house down is fucking right it doesnt represent the people it represents nothing but decades of lies and deception its time for the people of this country to take a stand against our government if were ever gonna see any real change! Queensryche the most political band of our time !!

  • I forgot just how "out there" these guys were. "Burn the White House down" ? Seriously? I wonder if they feel the same way now that someone from "their" side is the occupant?

Don't get me wrong, I saw Queensrhyce on the first LiveCrime tour and it was one of the top five concerts I've been to. Talk about an amazing performance, but I honestly forgot just how radical their music was/is. I thought they were trying to tell a story, not overthrow the government.

  • @thatguysaid You're taking it too seriously. If they had recorded this song today instead of back then it would have been "Eradicate the socialists we'll burn the white house down". If you're claiming that because you're right wing, you're ok with Fascism then you're a walking billboard for abortion.

  • @nakedchickens You do understand that this song is basically a "Communist" screed?

As I said before, I enjoy their music, but my propaganda meter goes off when I hear this song. And no, I'm not ok with Fascism (you should research what that actually means before throwing accusations).

Something else to consider is when this was originally written. It certainly cannot be logically argued that the US was under a Fascist govt at that time, if you know what the word means. ;)

  • @thatguysaid yes I understand the song is a "communist screed"... But you missed my point. Yes I understand Fascism. My point was that if they were left then, then they may just be right now, if they were young again. Instead of Erradicate the Fascists, it may well be Erradicate the Communists, but either way, let's burn the White House down? OK?

  • @thatguysaid

To a point, you're correct. I'm American to the core, meaning I subscribe to the Constitution and it's underlying values. But this song doesn't speak in favor of fascism or collectivism/socialism/Marxism. It does, however, speak in favor of revolution, of overthrowing the corrupt. And in this they ARE correct: all government, including the US gov, tends toward corruption, where the rich exploit the poor. That is exactly why we have the US Constitution. (con'd)

  • @jimmyboy131 I recommend googling up Gulen Charter Schools, obama muslim adviser gulen, tucson weekly hidden agenda,.....forignors fill rank of charter schools spead the word. 150 charter schools ran by this group and growing........

  • @thatguysaid

"Burn down the White House"? Not what I agree with; no not at all. But revolutions do happen, and sometimes they need to happen. If the US faces another revolution, whether like in 1861, or in 1775-76, it will probably be for a good reason. That does not negate or overthrow (necessarily) the Constitution. And if a revolution does happen, I hope it will be to bring us back to our American roots and to the Constitution.

  • @jimmyboy131 .....i agree with u jimmi, but the lyric is ''we will burn the 'firehouse' down'' lol

  • @lexcalibur1

No, it's clearly "white house", not fire house.

  • @lexcalibur1 According to the lyrics sheet on the Queensryche website...its "White House" not "Firehouse"

  • @lexcalibur1 it is burn the white house down. yes you have a facist government and you need to learn to face it, what do you think he means the corporation claw? HES SAYING TAKE DOWN THE FACIST GOVERNMENT QUEENSRYCHES ALBUM OPERATION MIND CRIME REFERS TO THE CIAS "MK ULTRA" WHICH IS THE CIAS STUDY ON INNOCENT AMERICANS FROM KINDERGARTEN AND WHATEVER/ WHOEVER THEY WANTED... DEATH TO NEW WORLD ORDER!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @thatguysaid - I think you need to go back consider the actual definition of fascism and the Reagan administration.

  • @thatguysaid It was a concept album about a mind controlled assassin that fell in love with a nun.

  • A timeless but never a classic piece of genius that still rings crystal clear. It can not be dated, because it holds true to this day. One of the most influential bands to give credit to in my musical style.

  • love this song

  • One of my fave Queensryche songs... Incredibley well made song... I get shivers when Geoff sings "Speak to me! The pain you feel!".... /dreamy sigh... Oh and if I see any more comments that say "Queensryche are just like Pink Floyd" I am going to hurt someone... They sound NOTHING like PF and are 2 completely different era's & musickal genres. Both are talented in their own right (I don't like PF though) but nothing alike. Sorry, just venting... Ahhhh I feel better now...

  • @SwanDust yeah...QR and PF are both progressive in one sense or another and like to address similar issues in their lyrics but they have different styles and influences. I love both bands though! =D

  • metal!

  • Thanks for the tip, joseranth00! Now I am doing the same. I need to go to bed, but these songs are just so epic, I can't avert my gaze.

  • google Queensryche Chris explains Operation Mindcrime. I'm listening to them in order while reading the story in Chris' words. Very cool!

  • I loved this whole concept album...so damn glad someone was willing to put most of it on this site...i've been rocking into the wee hours of the morning...AWESOME music!
