And many are. In the same way many Lybians are thankful and enjoying their new freedom and dignity. On the face of it, the Syrian regime appears ruthless, and perhaps they are to some extent, but scratch the surface and something smells a little fishy. Lots of unverified cell phone footage and witness accounts have been used to cement people's opinion about what has been going on. No doubt there has been violence in Syria, but is it all as it seems? It's a propaganda war and like always, it's going to be hard to get to the bottom of it any time soon if ever.
