The only thing you might consider is the keyboard size depending on how much typing you'll be doing. The Aspire's keyboard is good, but for full-time typing, look into a 10 inch netbook.
thts wut a netbook is made for. the guy at best buy most likely earns commission and wants u to buy a full fledged laptop for more money. go with the hp mini 1000 it has more power thaan the acer and ull probably need extra ram and a external drive good luckkk

Windows and linux truly are different. The windows version has larger storage capabilities with a mechanical hard drive. Linux has flash based memory and runs much faster. I feel Windows is the best choice simply because it is much more widely used

Yes mostly. Its a compact unit so theres not alot of natural air flow so the fan will stay on most of the time. Its a quiet fan though. No louder than a standard laptop's.
its not completely silent but its certainly not too loud to use in a classroom or library setting. The flash model is quieter than the hard drive model
Not really. In comparison with another glossy white laptop,(the Macbook being the most obviously example) the Aspire One does a great job at repelling fingerprints. It isnt perfect but its nothing that can't be fixed by simply wiping it down with a cloth.

yeah i'd say this will definitely get you all the way through high school. I do suggest getting the highest model available though. I'm not sure what sort of changes have been made but going with the top of the line model better insures it'll be suffient enough to last you a long time.

Its worth the money if you know what you're getting. Understand that this probably won't function as a main computer. If it is a secondary computer or if you are a light computer user, this laptop is perfect.
good honest review. obviously you are only showing what you've experienced and if anything you're still giving a pretty high rating for it. Tips - maybe showing the flaws if possible? the heat and sound of the laptop would have been good too but its not a biggie.
your video is good but i think you may gotten a unlucky acer. cuz mine is really good and the screen is good. i use it a lot out on my porch and o ya im srry about my bad language

you can't get windows 7 on that notebook it doesnt support it. it would make your computer run really slow if you successfully installed it.
