I was recently discharged from the Navy, I was deployed twice, foriegn nations do not love us, they fucking hate us, and what's even more terrible they compare us to 1940
's Germany, and yeah know what thier right if we don't do something soon.
Bush, knows the constitution, and yet he acts in direct oposition to it.
They are not seeking freedom for themselves, they have it. They are seeking to enslave others. Their works are evil. They know it. They must be resisted. The evil they represent must be overcome by the good others represent. Their ideas, which are wrong, for the most part imported, must be supplanted by ideas which are right. This can be done. The meaning of America is a power which cannot be overcome. Prosecution of the criminal and education of the ignorant are the remedy
"People will say of this generation that..." we sat idely by while the military resources of this country were used to continue with the imperialistic trend that the founding fathers set a few hundred years ago. Our fear is strong and our will is weak. We will consume ourselves into a desert and look back with regret. The american people are collectively a bunch of pussies that let him do this. I'm a full-blooded native american born and raised. Proud to say that I hate this nation. Fuck bush
And now he'll talk about poverty, food...Yeah, he knows that he must embellish his mandate on the end. But on 20 of January 2009 - THE END! (finally...)
well funding for a new war. Think about that if we have already declared war then shouldn't he say funding for the war... what's with the saying new war, and the smirk is priceless
I think that there is a new generation in the U.S. and a new war going on... Kinda exactly what he said, but I'm not rocket scientist... Maybe he said it cause thats what is going on? Whether you choose to realize it or not, we ARE at war... and it was declared on September 11th. Have you forgotten?
Yes, it's good to trust people Mr. President, but I think around 68% of people (American citizens) think that country is moving to the wrong direction; Can we trust people in this case? I wish I could ask this question directly to Mr. President. Anyway: that's my question...
On one hand he basically says - we need to decrease spending and lower taxes, then he says we have to increase spending for the military and military. What gives? I think we have to do one or the other. I am really hopeful we get the right president in this next election. One that sticks to the Constitution and a non-interventionalist foreign policy. I those things are the only hopes to save the USA economy short AND long term.
thanks for posting this. Say what you want about Bush, but I've always admired his straightforward delivery. He's certainly not the most liked president we've ever had, but I think he's taken a number of brave steps forward...it should be interesting to see how it is all sorted out.
Don't you recognize "lip service" when you see it?I like the way he smirks after he talks about "trusting the people" then the camera shows his wife licking her lips and smirking back.If you think he's genuine in any way I've got a bridge to sell you:)He talked about the tragic attack on the trade center but he forgot to mention that he was reading a lovely story about a goat at that moment and chose to finish reading the story before addressing the attack.
at 5:58, President Bush declares "America opposes genocide in the Sudan". At 6:00, with the rest of Congress offering a standing ovation, House Speaker Pelosi appears to falter, as if waiting for permission to stand and applaud, rather than being the leader and standing first. If the Speaker of the House needs to ask permission - from whom? - to stand and applaud the President's position against genocide in Sudan, what else does she have to ask permission from, and again, I ask, FROM WHOM?
I might be dumbed down, but didn't he say he was to expand US nuclear programmes in the first video. ??? This is hypocisy. Show the world the technology you have. We dont need nuclear. And neither do they.
If we used more nuclear power, we'd be much less reliant on oil and would be more apt to stay out of foreign wars. People who hug trees and call for alternative energy use need to embrace nuclear power or risk being called hypocrites.
I have never hugged a tree, I have however planted about 100,000. Also used other techniques to get even more in the ground. Nuclear is not the answer. The sun and nano technology is.

Trust the people? Is this why the Bush cabal is so in love with secrecy, surveillance and sophistry -- because they "trust the people?"
