We still have that game, but I have one question on my mind. Metal Gear was released in 1987 and MGS was released in 1999. Does the two games have any comparison to the series? I always try to look up information for the two.

@SuperFartinggirl Metal Gear on the MSX is the first of the Solid Snake games, and per story's chronology it's the 4th game in the series. Metal Gear Solid is the sequel to Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, but there are some background splits between the MG games and MGS, for example the Soviet Union is still supposed to be around in MG2, which takes place in 1999. The story is still connected, however. The "Solid" word is added because MGS makes the transition to "solid 3D".

TTS simply haves too much of the MGS2 on it. It has no music, and the little it haves, it's a crap. Made MGS lose its epicness, PRINCIPALLY on Liquid's fights (Hind, Top of Metal Gear and Escape).

Also, the speeches are INCREDINGBLY emotionless. It's amazing how TTS could remove ALL of the emotions with that crappy voices/tones of voice.

TTS can have better graphics and gamplay interactiveness, but without emotion it's just... waste of time/MGS2.

Some of the characters like Naomi and Mei Ling lost their accent and sounded dull, and the inclusion of rock music (like when Snake backflips off a freaking missile!) made the game feel like a silly Michael Bay film. Give me super pixelated faces any day of the week, please!

I didn't like how, past MGS1, the games seemed to get increasingly frantic for action. By MGS4 I'm able to buy enough ammo to mow down everything in the game thrice over, and in all the games besides 1, stealth didn't seem that important because it wasn't necessary to survive.

I really like Splinter Cell, it's a good game and everything, but Sam doesn't have personality. Besides of a revenging/pwning machine on Double Agent. Snake can be a dick with some people sometimes, but (on MGS1 at least), he gets a new personality, that makes he enjoy living. Makes MGS far more epic.

This (and some other things that Youtube limitation prevents), on my op, makes MGS surpass from far SC.
