@edsheahan2 20.000 that's pretty good, but 20.000 seats don't make up for wriiting a great song or should I say a good song, BTW I am going to see VH not to hear their new stuff but to hear the older tunes you know when they we"er Heavy and when they could write a great song just like the rest of the 19.999 people that will be there. That's one thing about ChickenFoot show, is that the 1500 you say that's there are there to hear great song's not what waas great in the past.

@edsheahan2 They won't for long, once the reviews start coming in that Dave is just useless, that the band isn't together...you'll see. V.H might not even finish the tour...Eddie will get sick of Dave very quickly after some crap reviews start piling up and it will be the same ole shit..Eddie starts drinking, fights start and the shows will be sad. I like Vh, saw them in '81 and '82...they killled back then...not now though. DLR can't even make as a lounge singer, he's pathetic.

Maybe Micheal Anthony is happier here. I know what it's like to work for an asshole..Even a successful one. Yeah, it's impossible to pick out Satch's vocals but you can tell somebody else is in there and that's prolly the sound they're after. He's just there to blend. At any rate, I think it works well. Great song! I'll post it one more time... I WANT TWO MORE ALBUMS!! The trouble with this record being so good is that it will be hard for them to follow up big!! This is a killer-no-filler in my opinion. Long live the FOOT!

@dockaiser Eddie definitely was one of the most influential and innovating guitar players of guitar history. It's a real shame that he hasn't done anything since Van Halen III. Another potential reason Sammy would give Joe the nod (even though I feel he does deserve it, I think he's the heir to Hendrix) is that Sammy might still be a bit perturbed with him about how he treated Mikey and acted in the studio.

Is it just me or does Mike Anthony seem like one of the coolest guys around? Awesome song off an awesome DVD (Blu-Ray is simply incredible). I agree, watching Joe 'sing' is amusing but more than that, I dig how they are all having a great time, especially Mike after putting up with Eddie's garbage for so long, he deserves it. Hmmm, and Sammy, in his mid 60's really delivers. Hell, all of them do.

Joe's tone? His amps are modified as are his pedals but the sound guys dial it all in.
