  • !Este é mesmo um clássico! !!E agôra esta já não está na televisão hôje em dia!! Fue descontinuado completamente da ABC! Esta apresentação começou em 1986, antes era o princípio com o sol e as nuvens...

  • I started watching during this time.

  • This was my favorite!

  • Even Peabo Bryson himself was trying to get this song released!!! But failed!!!

  • @freshin888style !?Deixa-me ver, este gajo Peabo Brysonn estava a tentar a lançar esta tema mas falhou?!

  • Haven't heard this theme in forever!!! Always liked the theme song!!! I love soaps!! Sigh!

  • Who's the picture of the lady in front of the diner?

  • @Suspiria10 That would be Wanda...anybody know who the guy is between Steve and Cassie??

  • @micksplace

That's Mark Arnold, the recast Rob Coronal.

He was also Gavin Wylie on EON, and Joe Perkins on Santa Barbara.

  • @donna515 Are you sure? He looks like Steve Holden [Max's brother] ...

  • awe, my youth

  • I'm not a soap opera fan and nor have I ever watched a full episode of OTL, but for some reason I've always loved this theme. I guess maybe because I get a slight feeling of hope listening to it.

  • I have watched One Life To Live off and on for 25 years. I can't remember this opening. When did it air?

  • @Sheri451 this version was in the 80's to very early 90's. loved this theme song when i was a baby/toddler lol!

  • @Myeshia I like One Life To Live and will trally miss it. Do you remember when it was done live? It was in the middle 1990s. They said Cassie Depaiva did a very good job crying for real on cue. I saw almost all of it.

  • @Sheri451 i was still a kid at the time but they did it live?!?! that's awesome!!!! i have to ask my mama about that, thank you so much for telling me!

  • @Myeshia If I'm not mistaken it was around the middle 1990s.

  • @Sheri451 It was May 2002. I remember that at the end of the week (May 17th), the show won its first (and only) Emmy of Outstanding Drama Series! I was only 13! And yes, Kassie DePaiva was INCREDIBLE during those scenes.

  • @earlymid90schild I wish they hadn't cancelled this soap. They should have put the episodes done live and then probably repeated for the west coast here on You Tube so we can see it again. I remember when they won Best Drama.

  • @earlymid90schild Sadly, the irony is that most of the regular "OLTL" cast skipped the Emmy's that year in protest of the fact that "OLTL" was shut-out of virtually every category. So very few of the main cast was present, only some of the supporting players.

  • Happy 43rd Birthday, One Life To Live!

  • Wow, Max had a nice mullet.

  • OMG so neat to see all the old faces!

  • That's Peabo Bryson singing right?

  • @producer4real yes, it is.

  • one life to live was so good back then..

  • Notice how the cast pictures became less transparent as time went on.

  • @sonoca12 and also there were less and less motion shots of the scenery behind the cast members as time went on. By no later than late 1987 or early 1988, the only remaining motion shot scenery would be the one behind Cord.

  • Wish Soapnet would play more classic episodes of One Life To Live!

  • @southfork042002 I feel the same way about other soaps including Another World.

  • omfg i lyk the one they use now better but this was so cool to see!

  • I can't believe SoapNet once aired some eps. from my favorite era of OLtL?!

**sighs** Those were the good ol' days of SoapNet!

  • Fall 1988 version.
