Today I tried to land, without planning any failure. While touching down my front landing gear broke. I couldn't keep my way down the runway because the plane crashed. Also I don't know if random failures can happen, because this is my first and only time that my plane fails (Except from overstressing it). Does anybody know what happened?

it happens when you hit the brakes hard just after landing! it usually happens when you fly a ISDT Atr-42 300 just after landing you hit the brakes just causing this type of failure.

Using a piece of software that you can set for what planned failure you want to occur. I don't know what the name of the software is or was, I just remember reading about some software that allowed this on one of the big FS Sim sites.

To get a failure: Press ALT in game it shows a tool of things. Go to aircraft:failures and select failed. Here you go :)

its not the air traffic controller...Its the voice from the ground proximity warning system using the radar altimeter to get the height above ground.

it's very hard to record the movie of a failure..cuz if u record in flying mode, u will be switching between a lot of windows, but if you record in replay mode, the failure doesn't show...
