  • world became to Deus ex

  • Why not just reprogram the hand so it functions naturally; when he thinks of opening his hand, his hand opens, etc.

  • In 15 to 20 years it will be Deus Ex O.O

  • how does he fap?

  • Im so glad im not missing an arm... Imagine all the things you do on a daily basis that is done with two hands, putting your clothes on, buttoning your pants, the zipper on your sweater, putting on a tshirt, tying your shoes, playing console games, typing on a computer, driving and even something as simple as opening a letter. We sure take a lot for granted.

  • Hey, the constitution says we have the right to keep and bear arms.

  • engineers could build a machine dexterous enough to do the things a hand can do.... the bigger problem is allowing it to communicate with the brain in some way with the same kind of broadband you get naturally. this video hints at that. you can never do with one of your back muscles what you can do hardwired to your motor cortex. the future of this technology will involve literally, physically, implating sensor plates in the brain and then callibrating the cortex to new signals over time.

  • what a remarkable man to show this!

  • i like the Sounds from the Arm and Hand from the Man. :-)

  • one point this video was incorrect on. they do have bionic hands that give the sense of touch.

  • robert winstons always whining about early technology .....hes a know all.

  • fortunately technology is further than is demonstrated in this video. bionic limbs can now actually directly be controlled by brainwaves, and not indirectly by muscle/nerve sensors.

  • (apogist) - can you refer me to a source? I know you speak truth I just can't find it anywhere! I remember hearing about it but could never find anything on the topic- I remember it being something from china or germany.

  • @h4rk4t Check out latest "Touch Bionics" products. Such as new I-Limb pulse.

  • The sense of touch is now possible in artifical arms. There is a surgery that has been done on a military woman that gave her that ability.

  • they probably do to some extent, but just imagine 20 years from now they may have sensory input on those things, that could have some negative effects though so they may just limit it to feeling textures rather than things that could lead to pain

  • i think the engineers should calibrate the movements to his appropriate nerve controls.

  • Hahaha do you have any idea what you're talking about?

  • you get what i mean

  • great video
