And might i say woah, when i typed in Brian Tyler just now, or what will be a while ago, i just saw that he did the soundtrack for Modern Warfare 3, Cooooooooool.
I'm thinking if the chords I'm talking about I'm wondering if maybe i've heard something similar from a super hero movie, spiderman, or captain america, iron man, I really can't tell, UGH, AGH, lol,
anyways, share with me where you might think it also came from cause I really want to go searching for that right now and see where i also might have similarly heard it.
I swear, this is a great piece and all, but those chord progressions after 0:50 sound so familiar as if I've heard them somewhere else. Anyone have any idea, i don't know if i've heard it from another movie where brian also made the music,
anyways woo hoo for Brian and thanks in advance anyone who can help me or has any idea. Peace.
It's a shame that Brian Tyler is wasting his amazing gift to score crappy movies like dragonball, the expendables and alien vs predator:requiem. Give the guy a A-list movie now!!!!!! If his scores would have been in better movies he would have had at least 2-3 academy awards by now for best score!!!! Brian rules!
I love watching conductors work, especially here. The way Brian moves with the music, it's as if he's actually controlling the instruments themselves.
wow! im just blown away,it must be amazing to have the education to do something so brilliant like this AND throwing up the devil horns at the end :D awesome!!
That is some great music ... this movie had so much potential!! There were some good bits to it - such as the actor who played Goku - I think he was an excellent Goku! But most other stuff was lame ...
But the thing is this movie isn't a copy of the Dragonball cartoon/amine. This is a different Goku - in a different movie. I think it's a good new invention of a different kind of Goku - which doesn't ruin the good old Goku.
Funny how people don't seem to mind when the music is stylistically different from the original anime, but boohoo when they change things up with the adaptation. This may be a better film than hardcore dragonball fans give it credit for, who only want to see a live action copy of what they've already read and seen some 10-15 years ago.
worst proffesional directors ever. he's living his dream you know. imagine always wanting to be a director and then you finally get to be one. then you find out that all of your movies got bad reviews.
I understand why reviewers give movies bad reviews, but ALL proffesional movies are all pretty amazing, compared to amateur. I just really feel bad for james wong, because he probably always dreamed of being a director, and when he made it, he was called "one of the worst directors ever." sad...
professional movies are amazing compared to amatuer... NO WAI!!! problem is james wong's movies suck compared to GOOD professional movies. and he shouldnt feel too bad. he's a professional film maker, having worked on well known tv shows and making the big screen several times. it takes a lot to make it that far. i would at least be proud of that. to be upset because you're not tim burton or george lucas would be rediculous.
i know, but i just feel bad for him, since his movies usually get bad reviews. not to mention, nearly every dragonball fan on earth wants to kill him now. :(
if i ever get to be a famous director, if i made a cartoon/anime adaptation, i would make sure not to change too much, or i could end up like him.
i feel bad for children starving in africa.. not some "professional" who thought it would be a good idea to make yamcha's hair blonde... he had it coming. he should know better.
He just knows what hes doing :)

IN COMPARISON TO HANS ZIMMER, THE BEST WAY I CAN EXPLAIN BRIAN TYLER IS BY THIS CLIP:

I love watching composers work, especially on quieter pieces. It almost seems as though their motions are actually creating the music from thin air.

@NeroBlack2200 That should be "conductor", not "composer".

@govno78 This could have been a spiderman / Batman intro theme IMO. I agree DBE was a waste of his talent.
