i hope this kind of disney classic is more than that hack tv shows. wth i dont know why some ppl and maybe the marketing ones more attracted with this current bulls*** disney tv shows like hannah montana (yuck) which is NO FUN and no meaning of the story and the jokes is no way fun and hannah montana's laugh is out loud(if u realize it on party in the usa-i really laugh at that point-so kind of idiot)

I'd say the Lion King, but all the other '90s movies are rather good. BATB is still one of the best, though, and one of my all-time favorites.

Beauty and the Beast was the diamond of the series of movies that followed. One must not forget Aladdin, Pocahontas, The Lion King, Hercules, and a few others. This time period was epic for disney animation. Beauty and the Beast was the best of it' time. :)

Blu ray really gives better color (and sound). Overhere blu ray is still very expensive, thats the reason why not so many people buy it and stay with regular dvd.

@Roel71 This looks much more beautiful than blu ray, much closer to the original, infact this looks exactly as the original, blu ray gives way too eccentric colours, you will have the impression that will burn your retina!

If the blu ray release looks like this I will be very happy! Just as long as it isn't that AWFUL DVD version that was way way too bright and stripped of it's artistic depth.

they plan on releasing this film in feb 2010 on both bluray and dvd but they want to make it in disney digital 3-d i hope it still looks good as this and still releases the motion animated film with it along with not changing 2 many things around
