  • After watching a few videos of animals vs trains, I dont think I'd wanna drive a train...I'd cry every time I hit an animal lol

  • i love the title in the beginning lol RUN BAMBI RUN!!

  • were you driving that slowly because of the deep snow? or maybe the curve? perhaps its a good thing haha. hope those guys dont make a habit out of prancing in front of moving trains though, cause it wont be that snowy forever x_x

  • that was cool, glad no deer were hurt.

  • Deer are beautiful animals, but man, not much up there, do they?lol! Great vid! But I would have preferred to hear the sound of the engine on what looked like a grade! But that' s just me, a train buff, or should I say a train lover, because I still have a lot to learn about it! Thanks again, and keep up the good work! And one of these days, invite me on one of your trips!

  • I' m sure they are! Ha ha ha! Tell me something, why did I get a thumb down? I didn' t say anything wrong, did I? It hurt my feeeeeeelings!!! LOL!

  • No clue bud, probably some hippy freak.

  • Could you tell the name of the music?

  • Hi rotekatze, I wish I could but I'm not sure who plays it. Youtube gave me a list to chose from after the original song was taken away due to copy rights.

    Thanks for watching

  • Hey hey hey, running a train and shooting vid at the same time LOL!!! Just subscribed to you sweet vids, what railroad do ya work for??? Thanks!!!

  • rail rebels

  • I worked on the tie gangs on the branch during the summer, I saw 8 deer in this same spot almost everyday..

  • You were on the side rail while controlling the train? Cool.

  • That's really amazing how close those deer come to your grill. It almost seems like they want to jump on your deck and take a ride. Reminds me of some drivers and people I've seen doing dumb things on the ROW.

  • Thanks. Love to see more of your in cab videos, especially of driver grade crossing behaviors.

    Thank you,

    Robert Gift, Denver

  • Are you moving so slowly to avoid hitting the deer?

Sounding the bell? Tapping the horn?

  • Hi Robertgift,

Track speed is 10 MPH. This area is a deer sanctuary, there's no hunting all year long. No one to my knowledge has ever hit a deer here with a train.

And yes, if they get real close we ring the bell and blow the whistle to avoid hitting them.

    Hogger01

  • @hogger01 a white tail deer sanctuary outside its native range in Ontario. WTF, unleash the wolves.

  • its fun
