Stack two blocks (generaly dirt) and remove the bottom one, then just hit his feet :P

I dont know if someone already said this but you can use flint and steel to set the ground below them on fire and theyll burn that way too, but it still takes a while.

For some reason mine sets on fire and just dies into the pool of lava before having time to get out. And I cant pick up my lava, I get the source but the puddle still remains

@NotToImply You have to set down the lava and pick it up again pretty quickly so it doesnt start flowing outward. It takes a little practice and timing to be able to do that, and also have a creeper come running into it at the same time. Good luck.

@Chanman234 Quandary, but its not fully Beta 1.3 compatible as of the last time I checked, so some objects end up being invisible.
