rialas ur amazing but just curious y r u using ur middle finger instead of ur 3rd finger? most bouzouki teachers teach it with the 3rd finger. just curious maybe u have different fingering technique.

Awsome, I slow this video down to 40% speed and you still sound fast when you play. I was wondering iff you would hoonour me with an opinion: my teacher tells me to play with my thumb down on the neck and not going over past the top of the neck. Is this normal?

Also i've noticed that your fingerplacement is sometimes stretched to get to certain notes e.g lesson 16. This is pretty awsome. Do you do excercises to improve your hand stretching flexibility?

Thanks Theo.

The position of my thumb changes depending on what my fingers are playing. i.e. if I stretch out my fingers my thumb comes down.

I never practice exercise. I only practice the things I need to learn. But some people prefer to do exercises, and I guess that works for them.

My fingers do stretch out sometimes as you get a more legato feel this way ala violin, which is also the reason why some of my favourite players focus their playing on the first three fingers "stretched out".

By first 3 fingers you mean from the pinkie? Also how do you get the sound at 1:08 1:09 in lesson 19, that wavy sound. Is it simply pushing the string vertical or is there something more to it?

By first finger I mean the finger next to thumb. I think you are referring to the slight bending or the string or the 7 note phrase?

The slight bending of the string after the 7 note phase. I've tried it but i'm afraid of breaking the string or damaging the bouzouki.

Acoustica Beatcraft is good for creating Backing Tracks. There are literally hundreds of different instruments you can add to your track (aside from drums). Good application for Microsoft junkies like me.

Just one problem though.....all software based instrument sounds are synthetic. They all lack a certain ... ooomph!

Costa yiasou ! My friend I heard backing tracks before and I am very proud of mine tracks but you are a phenomenon ,do you really fix these tracks by yourself?!! Bravo!!!!

Thank you Andrea. Yes I do. I start with a simple drum rhythm, sampled bass, and keyboard chords as a base. Then I work on the bouzoukia. Once the bouzoukia are done, I then go back and start replacing the sampled instruments with real instruments and add all the little extras needed. Once it's finished, I delete the first bouzouki, and re-record it in front of the video. It does take some time though.
