Are you fucking serious! Ive just discovered this mind-blowing band only to learn of the loss of David Gold. Whilst it is no consolation to the Gold family, I can assure you, their outstanding music will be played forever by me and every friend I know. Because once I introduce them to this band, I have no doubt, they will fall in love with the band the same way I have. This isnt music, this is a state of mind.
i am truely ashamed i only found these guys yesterday...and i found it ironic, that "buried in mount pleasant cemetary" was the first song i heard...then learned he was dead. such a shame and a terrible loss. the man and the band have hit me in such a way i have not ever fealt...and in just one day. that says something
I hear David's songs everyday, and I miss him! It pisses me off that he's not here to enjoy the fruits of his labour. I went thru hishschool with him, and followed him, musically, for years!
I have always been a fan of his work, since the first time we met, I could see that he was extremely passionate about metal, and all music... i knew he would go far, and follow his dreams. If only he could see, hear, and read all of the love that people have for him today.

Everyone has the right to come to their own conclusion about this accident. I remind some of you that David gave me a message" mom, I am on my way home." Today the OPP officer showed me the gas receipt when David filled his van with Gasoline for the trip home. The family had plans for Christmas in Petoskey and North Carolina. David has a UK tour planned with Earache, and he had a job offer in Dubai. Like many of us, he had a broken heart, but he had a future...continue to love my son.We miss him

I am a christian so it felt a little as if he was talking to me, and I deeply respect his point of view and to be honest I guess everybody feels like he does sometimes, even I don't take the existence of God as an absolute truth... I wish I had known his music for a longer time so perhaps this words would sound heavier, but I'd like to say I also feel sorry for his loss, more of this would have been enriching... R.I.P.
the album is almost like one big suicide note. i can't help but end every listen to this album with a heavy heart. David Gold was astonishingly great and he'll be dearly missed. I really hope that Joel reconsiders continuing the band without David, it would be an injustice to his memory.
