Delta as anti-terrorist team must be compared to Vympel. Vympel - KGB special recon-diversion team. All vympel operations including Afghanistan are classified except maybe Amin palace assault. This video shows spetsnaz of inetrior forces. Its like national guards in USA. Soldiers are conscripts.
I know Spetsnaz are some pretty tough guys and they're probaly on the top three list of the best special forces in the world but are they as good as Delta? You'd have a hard time convincing me about that...
russian spets are one of the top s/f units in the world. ask any delta (if you could) or other NATO special ops trooper and they will all say the same-don't mess with them EVER!
And btw you can't join delta force, they are top elite soldiers who can be picked out from every special forces unit of the U.S military, they then get invited to an admission test which only 4-5 procent pass and then their education starts from the top.
everyone of them have to be expert marksmen and they're expected to hit their target everytime (which is two shot's right in the middle of the eyes) and it is also the part of the training most of them drop out on... Besides the extreme mental pressure that is put on them during the training which also many drop out on (which i also could tell a lot about) and also when they clear a room they are trained to look for hidden terrorits on the ceiling.
Well when delta force enter a room (after the explosion and the flashbangs) each of them are ordered to clear different places in the room, and they all go seperate ways when they enter but end up being together when the room is cleared, exactly how they move during clearing I couldn't find any facts about, only pure guessings... The hardest part of the training for those who wants to become delta operators is the shooting.

No one knows what they're doing, only a few U.S Goverment ppl and themself knows! That's right Rebel2116, the missions that the U.S Delta Force take on are completely kept top secret for the public and if it should happen (which it rarely does) that one of their operations are shown on television their precense in the clip are usually denied by the U.S Goverment. To be honest, I don't think it was a show. I read it in a news article a while ago, it was basically competitions where FFL, Deltas, SAS, Spetsnaz and some other were compared. I don't think you're likely to see many comparisons now, back then the Spetsnaz needed money so they'd go along with all of this, like the Russian space program advertising pepsi. Now, they're more conservative and train more intensely.
No one comes close to Spetsnaz in terms of endurance and combat, maybe British
I didnt think that they would use Deltas cause they are not "technically acknowledged by the government"They would use the Seals Rangers or Green Berets cause the Deltas are just on a higher level.
Spetsnaz are tough because some divisions go to direct action instead of stealth...sometimes w/o armor/airsupport etc.... SF that emphasizes on stealth would be stunned or shocked while fighting spetsnaz

Solidus Spetsnaz training is some of the most un-orthodox of all militarys and perhaps the most realistic! Between training to be a Seal, SAS, or Spets, you've got a much higher chance of dying in Spets.
Back in 92 a cousin of mine was Green Beret simulating a Spets type training simulation and his body was never recovered in the Canadian wilderness!

I read in some article, that one time an air assault troops unit (not spec ops but still elite infantry) would land in their helos in Afghanistan right next to a muji hideout and in under ten minutes gunned down more than 30 tangos before leaving just like that. Ten minutes. This was during the Afghan-Sov war. That tale was told by a prominent resistance commander. Now, you dont see Delta Force or any US spec ops getting thumbs up from their enemies. No, you get stuff like Mogadishu...

And btw you can't join delta force, they are top elite soldiers who can be picked out from every special forces unit of the U.S military, they then get invited to an admission test which only 4-5 procent pass and then their education starts from the top.

everyone of them have to be expert marksmen and they're expected to hit their target everytime (which is two shot's right in the middle of the eyes) and it is also the part of the training most of them drop out on... Besides the extreme mental pressure that is put on them during the training which also many drop out on (which i also could tell a lot about) and also when they clear a room they are trained to look for hidden terrorits on the ceiling.

Well when delta force enter a room (after the explosion and the flashbangs) each of them are ordered to clear different places in the room, and they all go seperate ways when they enter but end up being together when the room is cleared, exactly how they move during clearing I couldn't find any facts about, only pure guessings... The hardest part of the training for those who wants to become delta operators is the shooting.

Well Delta Force were made for a reason so i'm sure they've done a lot of operations in the last few years with all the terror and all, since it's mostly the Central Intelligence Agency that give them their missions (and that's a fact) but you're right there's no way i'd ever know but after all the research i've done on em i'm positive that they've done many!

No one knows what they're doing, only a few U.S Goverment ppl and themself knows! That's right Rebel2116, the missions that the U.S Delta Force take on are completely kept top secret for the public and if it should happen (which it rarely does) that one of their operations are shown on television their precense in the clip are usually denied by the U.S Goverment. I've done some research on their training (although it's hard to find anything about them) and damn those delta boys are GOOD!!!

To be honest, I don't think it was a show. I read it in a news article a while ago, it was basically competitions where FFL, Deltas, SAS, Spetsnaz and some other were compared. I don't think you're likely to see many comparisons now, back then the Spetsnaz needed money so they'd go along with all of this, like the Russian space program advertising pepsi. Now, they're more conservative and train more intensely.
No one comes close to Spetsnaz in terms of endurance and combat, maybe British

Spetsnaz are tough because some divisions go to direct action instead of stealth...sometimes w/o armor/airsupport etc.... SF that emphasizes on stealth would be stunned or shocked while fighting spetsnaz

Solidus Spetsnaz training is some of the most un-orthodox of all militarys and perhaps the most realistic! Between training to be a Seal, SAS, or Spets, you've got a much higher chance of dying in Spets.
Back in 92 a cousin of mine was Green Beret simulating a Spets type training simulation and his body was never recovered in the Canadian wilderness!
