@TheNewMusicNetwork Your attempted breakdowns are ridiculously pedantic, arbitrary, and ultimately inaccurate. You don't even know who the band is, and it isn't like they were some unknown garage band of which no one has ever heard. Dee Dee and Joey Ramone were both members at various times. With such limited knowledge of the genre in question, there is no reason anyone should care about how or why you choose such silly lines for what is and isn't punk.
@monkeymichel I agree! It used to have a wide window , wasn't enclosed, was open off to the left side & it looks like it has been moved closer to the corner even. Now or last time I went by there it was a 'fatburger' .
@Jacklord1967 This is the one at the Willoughby & Fairfax...the one at Vista and Santa Monica was finally closed down by the Sheriff & City of West Hollywood. The original is on Pico west of La Brea
@jsmog Original on Pico west of La Brea? I never heard of that one especially back in the day. I just remember the Vista location & that years later other people flying the "Oki Dog" name opened new spots; IE Fairfax & so on. The other one that I have been to, Fairfax" had nothing to do with or had anything even near what the Vista spot had to offer. Whether or not it was atmosphere or even the food which didn't resemble the OG stuff. The OG guys were Okinawan fast moving & talking guys.Cheers!
I loved living at Oki-Dogs back in the day!

@TheNewMusicNetwork Dude, Google is your friend. Look it up, and have all your doubts calmed.
From the Wikipedia entry: "Youth Gone Mad signed onto the Posh Boy Records roster, scored a minor radio hit with 'Oki Dogs' in 1981..."
