I was thinking of getting this done but I changed my mind, instead I've been wearing magnetic earrings and fake cartilage rings, I guess I'm too scared at the moment.

i just got mine done 2 days ago,i got the exact same as her..i got the horseshoe bell ring,and then under it i got another with a stud,wasnt sore at the time but now? they are in pain.
i did mine myself bout a week ago lol doesnt hurt just makes a loud popping noise! and no youre not supposed to use guns even if it does go a lil faster

@jadeSnakesneakers i think getting one in your tongue hurts more. i got my cartilage done (two earings on the same side, that's how i wanted it done.) and it dosen't hurt. But they used the gun. And they haven't got infected ... well, i take care of a lot! clean it twice a day and all that stuff.
@TheTwilightSagaHeart yes but if guns used on cartilage can be extremely dangerous. they shatter the cartilage and instead of removing it cleanly from the hole. it greatly increases chance for infected and growths. it's really the irresponsible way out.
Had mine with a gun.. I felt the pain only after it was pierced. The pain subsided like 3 days after. But the week after, my ear got inflammed and got really painful. I don't know what happened. Prolly with my position in bed. I was thinking of just taking it out, but I decided to just keep putting ice on it and kept wiping it with alcohol. After like 3 days or so, it started to heal. Now it's fine. I can even pinch my cartilage without any pain at all. (:
i got mind done twice because the first one i was in school and my freind through me a ball and it hit my piercing and it got stuck in the inside of the cartilage and i had to get that one out and my second one got infected i dont how but it did lol.

I can not get rid of the pain, nor the purple bump on the back of mine (not a boil I've checked) that's swelling and there's dark yellowishbrownpuss on the back im doing the sea salt soaks and the tea tree oil twice a day, and im still waiting for results, even though its been like 3 weeks. Anyone know if I have to continue this process or skip to another one because I really don't want to let it close. I know its infected but what can I do to save it? Coontinue or try another thing..?

I just got my cartilage pierced 2 days ago. Mine was done with a gun. It happened so fast that I didn't even remember the pain after the lady did it. Luckily, I'm not having any problem with the healing except that I probably can't sleep on the pierced ear side when I go to bed. lol.
Once I got four ear piercings done at the same time, two of them cartilage, all with a needle. The first cartilage felt fine, then my piercer did the two others, and last he did the other cartilage. If you're going to get multiple cartilage piercings, do them one after the other, because there should not be a lot blood or soreness there yet from the first piercing.

@sparkANDshimmer Today I just took both of my helix (cartilage) piercings out. The one on my left ear didn't heal, and it started to get a bubble in the back & on my right hear it wasn't bad, but I decided it would be better to take both out. I'm not sure if its because my ears are sensitive, or because I got it pierced with a gun. I would recommend you to go to a tattoo/piercing place and do it with a needle. I plan to re-pierce both ears, but in a different spot with a needle (: hope I helped.
@QnzkiddGrimeyy It's not about the pain. Piercing guns can easily shatter the cartilage, that's why they shouldn't be used. Only needles should be used, for all piercings.
guns don't hurt at all, I had to take out my helix and re-do it a month later but this time I got it done with a needle, I'll go ahead and say "it fucking hurt".

@lissylupu Cartildge, but that's only if you don't clench your tummy with naval. If you want it enough don't even worry about the sensation of the piercing, it's well worth it :)
I have this pierced didnt hurt at all, only a tiny wee nip and its done, its quite sore when you knowck it for the first day or so and sore to sleep on for a few weeks x
I got my helix done 3 days ago, it took about 20 seconds and I was out the shop, I didn't even feel a thing and I can sleep normally too. I have 7 piercings now and i can safely say my second holes hurt a hell if a lot more. I had mine done with a needle which I think is a lot more accurate than a gun cos it's smaller!
@JadRichards thats so weird, i got mine done 2 weeks ago, literally took about 20 seconds too, i didnt feel a thing either, i have seven piercings,and my second lobe piercing hurt more than my helix too and i got it done with a needle :O
@JMLXKIMCHI I got mine done this evening. It was done with a needle. My first remark after the needle went through was "that wasn't bad at all." Getting the ball on and tightened did hurt for me, but it's all done and over with before you know it. If you want it, it's worth it!
Got mine done with a gun and it took 2 seconds. No pain at all and it didn't break the cartilage or give me an infection like people say piercing guns do.

I got mine done with a gun, that has a long needle, but that looks like it REALLY hurt. Especially since he left it in for a minute;DD

i gott meh carilage done on both ears 1 year ago butt my was with a gun and the women fhucking took her time and itt hurt like a bitch butt yesterdayy i gott my ears pierced again butt this time i got a conch on my left ear and i gott a ear lobe piercing on the right ear and lett meh tell you thosee two i got yesterdayy hurt more then the carilage !!

Im thinking about getting my lobes repierced along with an extra stud on the left lobe, three helix piercings on my right, and on the ear with two lobe peircings a industrial going horizontial. And my hair dyed crayon red. :) Fun Fun Fun! You know if my mother approves! WISH MEH LUUCK!!!!!!!!

i just got a cartilage piercing on both my ears. didn't hurt at all to get them done. there sore now though, guess they will be for a few weeks? Espically sore sleeping on them lol.

it doesnt hurt at all i got mine done like a few hours ago home Done aBut i recommend if u do it at home get a piercing needle Its a lot less painfull plus its only 50cents soo ya

@lissylupu Cartildge, but that's only if you don't clench your tummy with naval. If you want it enough don't even worry about the sensation of the piercing, it's well worth it :)

I have this pierced didnt hurt at all, only a tiny wee nip and its done, its quite sore when you knowck it for the first day or so and sore to sleep on for a few weeks x

Yes, use the ink to mark her ear so the ink can also infect her ear.

I got my helix done 3 days ago, it took about 20 seconds and I was out the shop, I didn't even feel a thing and I can sleep normally too. I have 7 piercings now and i can safely say my second holes hurt a hell if a lot more. I had mine done with a needle which I think is a lot more accurate than a gun cos it's smaller!

@JadRichards thats so weird, i got mine done 2 weeks ago, literally took about 20 seconds too, i didnt feel a thing either, i have seven piercings,and my second lobe piercing hurt more than my helix too and i got it done with a needle :O

Its definitely NOT beter with a gun,
Yes its over faster,
But you can easily damage the cartilage,
Guns should really only be used for lobes.

@JMLXKIMCHI I got mine done this evening. It was done with a needle. My first remark after the needle went through was "that wasn't bad at all." Getting the ball on and tightened did hurt for me, but it's all done and over with before you know it. If you want it, it's worth it!

Got mine done with a gun and it took 2 seconds. No pain at all and it didn't break the cartilage or give me an infection like people say piercing guns do.
