MP's are Military Police. They are a police unite that maintain law within the Military. In Iraq they provide security to convoys and secure roads, etc. 'Grunt' is a term used mostly to describe an infantry person. Grunts are the ones who do the down and dirty work...

This war is greater than just eliminating those behind 9/11. It was never the goal to conquer and occupy Iraq. The goal was to establish a democratic government led by Iraqis. This seems to be happening albeit after many obstacles of which the majority were caused by non Iraqi's. The 2nd goal eliminate their WMD's. Seems he exaggerated his capability...even fooled other secret services such as the Russians, Germans and French.

British S,A,S, Commandos and Royal Marines along with the French GIGN are the best. Hey Dude, I agree the Russian, British, Israel and a few others have excellent elite branches of their militaries. Id put the Marines up against any army. You MAKE MY POINT re your reply to my WWII comment. It was a preemptive move to move join the fight against the Nazis.
