Yes it's true that God loves each and everyone of us and that he is a God of great forgiveness, but he's also one of judgement. God gave us the free-will to obey and love him or disobey him, Adam disobeyed God---thus sin entered the world. There are consequences for our actions and at some point in our lives we all have to own up for our deeds----whether good or bad. Its our choice.
