Maybe one day Marriott will modernize this Marquis with Compass Destination Entry system. The other Marquis in New York has Schindler's Miconic 10. I know cuz I rode the elevators at the other Marquis.

The hotel is good, although I prefer the Hyatt Regency next door.

The main entrance of the hotel is located in what level?

Lobby Level - the rear is on the international level, one below the marquis level. You have to take either the escalator or one of the parking elevators to get there. The Marquis and International Levels have event space. The Lobby has check-in, a starbucks, and a convenience store. The Atrium Level has some restaurants and also a bar.

I have no idea, maybe to save space. The doors on the other side are just centrally opening ones.

Yes, there are banks of elevators. 3 elevators (2 scenic and 1 internal) go to floors 41-47, 4 elevators (3 scenic and 1 internal) go to floors 30-41, 4 elevators (all scenic) go to floors 18-30, and 4 other elevators go to floors 1-18.
