Konried was a next level MMO experience.

This TechPlant recreation is amazing. Very well detailed. It reminds me of Mekala(sp?), Amerish in terms of tower positioning and topography.

@xIsa38 Yeah it was about 1:30 in the morning and I had been drinking (I know, not the best time to make a video). So Equipment Purchasing thingy was at the time apparently easier to spit out than Terminals.

And as far as Planetside 2, it's been rumored for like 4 years, they keep mentioning a Planetside Next, but I've still never heard confirmation, or seen a job listing, or screenshot to prove it's real. Until then it's just a rumor to me,

@xdrezdenx FireFall is a new large scale FPS coming out. It's not 1000 players per server, just hundreds.  But it's an FPS.

@druidblitzkrieg Firefall is more like Borderlands...it's not going to be anything like Planetside. Planetside is a true MMOFPS with only a very light emphasis on RPG mechanics, Firefall is pretty much going to be a Borderlands clone with more people playing, not just 4, it's going to have a lot more to do with grinding levels, getting the best gear and making the best "spec". Planetside was basically just Tribes 2 with a fuckload of people at once, that's why it rocked.

@Asiancomedian I don't know about PlanetSide 2, but Tribes Universe looks like a capable successor to PlanetSide. It's still only promises though.

It's no PlanetSide, but I kind of dig how Firefall looks.

@12oranges Tribes Universe is what I'm looking at to be the Planetside successor right now. Yes, Hi-Rez dropped the ball with Global Agenda. But I think it was a step in the right direction gameplay wise. It felt like a Tribes/Planetside hybrid.

Tribes Universe they are saying will use the classic Tribes 3 armor class set. And will have open world areas 10 times bigger than the Sandstorm area in GA (Which is pretty damn big) which would make those open areas about as big as PS Continents.
