Psychiatrists are not doctors at al. .I wear certified insane at 11 years old (in the 50's) I spent years in an asylum, trained as a nurse, have a degree in IT, a degree in nursing, my son, because of my own history was deemed to have mental illness.

I refused to give him drugs. He is now a grown man with his own business and oh boy, am I proud of him!

Thank you! I refused to medicate my son -- and this is why. I kept demanding a differential diagnosis. It would take 30 minutes --or less-- before someone was trying to give me a prescription for him. That was 6 years ago. He's doing OK. Didn't need your drugs. Glad I never gave in to the demands of the industry. Keep your chins up. And demand that they prove it, beyond the shadow of a doubt.
