@dwjones Gay-Yee has an honours degree in music from Trinity College in London (also very prestigious). They have all been playing for years and are classical musicians so did not get where they are just by being pretty. I'm sure there are people that like them more because of how they look but if you don't like the music in the first place then you wouldn't listen. Playing the instrument well is a requirement when it comes to classical music, you cannot just blag your way in by looking good.

Haylie gained a first class honours degree in music and a postgraduate degree in advanced solo studies from the Guildhall School of Music (one of the most prestigious in London). Eos has a first class honours from the Royal College of Music. Tania has first class honours in music from Sydney Conservatorium of music as well as a postgraduate diploma in performance from Guildhall.

There are probably millions of people in the world with 1st-class musical honours, I'm one of them. Postgraduate study thins the herd a bit, but these girls are still no better qualified than the best players in my regional town of 200k people.

They do sound good, and they certainly look good, but they're not in the same league as, say, Kronos Quartet.
