I own a 2000 Model Landcruiser 4.5 six cylinder and it has done 400,000 kilometers with roughly 1000 kilometers on average per week, plus being in Dubai, that means putting it through a desert run every weekend in soft sand that would sink a car instead of bog it. i make it through every time. im happy with my ride, and i would also be happy with a truck, as long as its a 4x4 - life is good, everyone has prefrences so drive what you like as long as it puts a smile on your face - end of story.

I love how people hold the over rated viper in such high standards. The dang thing was Shelby's revenge child when ford kicked him to the curb. Since then all of the other car makers have been making bigger and better cars for way less money. While Dodge went with big displacement and a V10 others like ford have gone with a 5.0 and with a few mods make way more power than the viper.

The F150 is definitely a fantastic truck, but I have been in situations where my Tacoma has outdone a fricken F150. Ford (aka Fix Or Repair Dailey) is not that good of a truck. Dodge is a piece as well as Chevy. My dad had an 02 Tacoma with 180,000 miles...NEVER A PROBLEM! I had an 08 Tacoma....137,000 miles...NEVER A PROBLEM! @maurader81 Now maybe they will learn to use a better undercoating and paint, for in New England here where I live, the salt thats used for our winters kill the paint and undercoating. That's the one thing that I have found to be best with Chevy and Dodge, they use a better undercoating where rust does not hit as fast.
I am a auto body tech and I like Fords and Chevy, but for overall durability and lasting with no rust, Ford is not quite there.
