  • alexis?

  • I really question the integrity and competancy of the essay readers. Maybe it is time to do away with that part of the test. The schools you apply to can judge your writing skills from the application essay.

  • glad you found this helpful

  • Thank you so much. This was very helpful :)

  • No worries-you can take the December 10, 2011 ACT

  • DAMMIT I JUST TOOK THE SAT TODAY, WISH I FOUND THIS VIDEO EARLIER D:

  • you sure about this?

  • I heard that the College Board might get rid of guessing penalty for AP test, but haven't heard anything yet about eradicating the penalty on the regular SAT.

  • Actually the sat no longer deduct points on penalty if you opt out that answer, so if you have no clue as to what the answer may be and dont want to be penalized just opt it out.

  • I'd get both books, although the College Board Official Study Guide is an essential SAT material. The key is you want to get a lot of practice tests under your belt, and the College Board Study Guide has the most realistic practice tests. The Princeton Review has some harder caliber problems, but overall their practice tests don't mirror 100% what you'll see on test day. So go with the College Board book #1 and grab the Princeton Review for more practice.

  • Which SAT book is better, the one by Princeton Review or the one by College Board? I've been hearing the one by Princeton Review is harder and preps you for the harder questions but the College Board one is easier and a student should use both books to study for the SAT.
