You have to be careful which exhaust you put on an S2000. This one sounds nice. Not so sure about some of the other ones... 5" single-exit exhaust on an S2000= ricey. This= Very nice.

@grocer3 Are you old enough to drive? Or is your mom's car a station wagon with an automatic transmission? In a car with a manual transmission, you can't park by putting the car in gear while the engine is running. It would simply lurch forward and stall when you let out the clutch. Also, regardless of whether you have a manual or automatic, it is better to leave the car resting against the e-brake than against the transmission.

@psuntlion you're totally right, but his point is correct in a way too... you CAN park by putting it in gear and letting the clutch out. it WILL lurch & stall, but hey, cars off & you're in gear, PARKED!

park your car, pull the ebrake up, put the car into appropriate gear then turn off the engine without letting out the clutch.

1) E-Brake.

2) Putting it into gear *after you turn the engine off*

3) Both E-Brake and into gear. (Best option)

Great exhaust. I got the N1 catback a few months ago and sounds awesome but has alot of drone so the baffles aka silencers had to go on the mufflers to take the headache away lol but it still sounds great regardless

@EmiratesA340 Yeah - for a bare bones true sports car, there's nothing like it! My G37 is more comfortable and has more toys, but it doesn't have that sports car edge. Be careful when you're buying because many, many of these S2K's have led very hard lives. I bought a 2001 after the 2002 seen in this video and the car was a bucket. Check S/N's on hood, fenders, etc. to make sure the thing hasn't been wrecked. Also, make sure you VTEC it (>6k RPM) on your test drive to make sure it will rev.

I think this is one of the best exhaust notes around. Its a four cyl who cares, I am a track guy not a stright line guy. I wouldn't drag this car I would go with something more torquey but its a ashame that 2009 was the last s2k to be built

It's a matter of preference. I liked it loud and obnoxious but some of my passengers found it annoying :-). The N1's come with removable silencers that do reduce the noise quite a bit.

It's definitely a matter of opinion. For the money ($475-600 on eBay), the Invidia is a great deal. Some people think it's too loud, though. I also like the HKS, but it's $300 more expensive.
