  • pure music brilliant

  • Their harmonies add so much emotion. Lovely song!

  • thats ok i fore give you lol

  • I happen to love both the Vogues and the Lettermen. Takes me back to my youth. Time flies. Thank you for posting.

  • Final Destination 3 ... now this song scares the shit out of me!

  • This is one creepy ass song, it's almost as creepy as the Brady Bunch intro.

  • @sjm8890 you dont no what a good song is

  • @ralex6045 I do know good music and this song is creepier than holy hell

  • Awesome. Real music. What a joy!

  • My first dance ever was in the 8th grade with a girl named Sheila. Thanks for posting.

  • FINAL DESTINATION 3!

    argh!!!

  • It's like the perfect stalker theme song. Lol.

  • i love this song it brings back the days when song were greatnot like the junk the put out today

  • thanks for uploading so much awesome music.. ;D

  • AMEN ric77 - We had a lot better county thin... I am so glad to have grown up during these times...

  • I'm sure there are Special angels - ones who loved us in life - walking beside and behind us, this song is a great reminder that love never dies, it only grows stronger. For all those of us whose great love is now in spirit - God bless.

  • Love, love this! Dear Nicky, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!! RIP.

  • Sweet song

  • The children now don't have anything to look forward to when they're older, with the trash that's on the radio now. It's so embarrasing to even know what one group with just the initials LM*AO is, But the older generation have no idea what it really means. I was born in 1963 and was probably five or six when this lovely song came out.

  • Dust in the wind... :s

  • it was not by Glen Campbell ever. omg

  • @sjpw62 Glen Campbell was the first to record this, but The Lettermen charted higher a year later, and I think this version by The Vogues sounds very much like theirs.

  • this is for my son bob//i miss miss himso mucm/

    mom.

  • originally by glen campbell

  • I really love you. Someday you may turn around and I won't be there.

  • I just heard this on tv tonight. They had a special on 60's rock when radio was only AM, no FM in those days. I've always thought this song was so beautiful. Thanks for posting.

  • Yaffa, where were you when I needed you. We could've been soooo in love and happy! You never turned around and looked at me but it wasn't your fault: c'est la vie. After all these years, I cry when I hear this song...Why? My God, what you younger guys missed: the American Dream and the most beautiful songs ever! God Bless you all!

  • There is someone walking behind you,

    turn around, look at me.

There is someone watching your footsteps,

    turn around, look at me

There is someone who really needs you,

... here's my heart in my hand.

Turn around, (turn around,) look at me,

    (look at me,) understand,understand,

  • @thealbumcollector

That there's someone who'll stand beside you.

    Turn around, look at me.

And there's someone to love and guide you.

    Turn around, look at me.

I've waited, but I'll wait forever for you to come to me.

Look at someone (look at someone) who really loves you,

yeah, really loves you. Turn around, look at me.

  • Back when songs were romantic and beautiful. Not like this CRAP we have today!

  • @rici777 OMG, I was 14 and had my first crush. This was when band's were band's and you understood.

  • @rici777 I fully agree with you...!!!!!!! even it's not everything CRAP..

  • @rici777 i am with you!

  • debbie i miss u and still love you just me b

  • ahhhhh final destination lol >.<

  • excellent , this song reminds me of young aged memory, my sweet heart hited me on the head!

  • There was the Lettermen and there was the Vogues, The Vogues blew them out of the water.

  • 1 person doesn't have an angel....and I feel sorry for him....

  • Ah, Final Destination 3..Best Freakn Movie Eva.. :)

  • Sad that the fantastic era of "tight 3-4 part harmony" has come and gone. Groups like The Vogues, The Lettermen and The Four Freshmen gave musicians and singers like myself a lofty goal to attempt to attain back in the 60s and 70s. I was fortunate enough to spend awhile in a "show band" with four other very talented men and all of us sang both lead and harmony. We toured mostly the midwest doing imitations of those great groups. I smile wishing I could perhaps go back in time. A great tune

  • this song is creepy. i think because of the lyrics that say "there is someone walking behind you, turn around." that creeps me out a bit too. great song though and great harmony!

  • this song is gorgeous and i have never heard of the vogue.

  • Shut up about final destination, your ruining the song. This song isn't creepy if you listen to it deeply. It's a very lovely song.

  • watching final destination three right now. :P

  • hahahaha i love this song sooo much i loved final destination 3

  • XD OMG FD5 WAS SO BAD ASS!!!! THEY SHOULD HAVE HAD THAT DAMN SONG IN IT!!! XD I WOULD HAVE BEEN LAUGHING MY FRICKEN ASS OFF XD this song is SO epic!!!!

  • great one here by them.glen campbell had a hit with it before the vouges did(#62 pop in 1961).both versions are great :)

  • Peaking at # 7 for the week of July 13, 1968 on Billboard's Top 100, "Turn Around Look At Me" was the VOGUES biggest selling single in the group's storied career. Hope you enjoy this memorable moment in music! --Chuck

  • I fell in love over this song

  • I'm not going to die, I'm not going to die, I'm not going to die, I'm not going to die, I'm not going to die, I'm not going to die, I'm not going to die, I'm not going to die, I'm not going to die........... I'm so going to die.. Dx

  • everytime i hear that song, there is a cold frisson on my spine^^

  • I'll take the old days anytime over what is referred to as music today. You could even understand what they were saying!!

  • @Imayorkiemom And what they were saying actually MEANT something too. And the meanings of the older songs were so much deeper and truer than the lyrics of the majority of "todays" music.

  • @MoosicandCritters

The Vogues.. .a proud Pittsburgh Group....We grew up with the best in the 60's

  • @MoosicandCritters absolutely

  • hahaha I love it but I still like the "Roller Coster" song better. Catchier.

  • WWTIJWTJWTOJWELGASDLFAGASDFGLAGASDGFSHJJKJWYTQEFADSZ scary

  • the jazzy background...ahhhh

  • Great song from a more innocent time. Today they would call it stalking.

  • @Tonithenightowl For real! I'm so glad I grew up back in those innocent times. Nowadays, it seems like innocence is a thing of the past. Kinda sad....

  • @MoosicandCritters We didn't grow up with all the information that's out there today. There was still some wonder to life. The pace wasn't so crazy, and we had the best music of any era. I'm glad I wasn't born too late lol. Thanks for responding.:o)

  • @Tonithenightowl Yeah you're right. It sucks

  • @721rem I'm going to assume you meant the stalking comment lol. Today you would get arrested for walking behind someone for too long lol

  • @Tonithenightowl I used to follow a girl home from school everyday. It just happened that she always got of the bus first and I right behind her. Found it interesting the way her calves wabbled. Ha! She wasn't paricularly good looking but to this day I regret that I never made the effort to get to know her; never said a word to her. Too bad, might have become good friends.

  • @samisunc At that age males and females are curious about one another and they aren't sure why lol. Hormones and all that. I recall it being a wondrous time filled with much confusion bc boys were so different. I'm sure it was the same for you guys. It was the little things at that age that we noticed the most. For me it was English Leather cologne, I thought it the most wonderful scent for boys to wear. It beat them smelling like sweat and dirt lol.

  • @Tonithenightowl I hear ya. Sometimes I smelled like English Leather; other times I smelled like dirt. Yet other times I just smelled like dirty English Leather. Ha!

  • @samisunc Well that explains why some smelled like they took a bath in the stuff instead of a bath lol

  • @Tonithenightowl Gotta great sense of humor there girl.

  • @samisunc Thanks. It's the hearing they say that goes first, but I would hate to lose my sense of humor, I need it to face the face I see in the bathroom mirror most mornings lol Getting old ain't for sissies lol :o)

  • @Tonithenightowl lol I also dread facing the face sometimes. I'm afraid the axiom, "time heals all wounds," does not apply in this case. It's very nice chatting with you Tonithenightowl, mind telling me what oldies artists you're into. I've recently rediscovered Del Shannon (love Little Town Flirt), Gene Pitney (Gonna be Strong, Half Heaven Half Heartache) and OMG Neil Sedaka's The Diary. I'm still 16 when I listen to that song.

  • @samisunc Without a doubt Gene Pitney, to me, is the greatest singer that ever lived. Then comes Johnny Contardo of Sha na na fame, Roy Orbison, The Righteous Brothers, the whole British Invasion, Grass Roots, Jim Croce, Cat Stevens, Smokey Robinson, The 4 Tops, Areatha Franklin, 60's hippie's music, Peter Paul and Mary, Dylan, Donovan, Beach Boys, The Shadows, Dick Dale, Dwayne Eddy, Gary Lewis and the Playboys, Bobby Vinton, John Fogerty,Simon and Garfunkel, and I could go on and on lol

  • I love this song, very much that Bee Gee's version :3 <3

  • dont sing this to ur girlfriend please... it is scary..

  • @jee11589 Listening to me sing ANYTHING to ANYONE is scary!

  • @Alikah1 hahaha.. so keep ur voice to urself okay..

  • Beautiful and classic .

  • I loved hearing this in Final Destination 3, it's kinda creepy but a nice creepy and you have to keep listening to it. XD

  • The ultimate version.

  • I was in the 7th grade and this song was for all the bleeding hearts lol

  • 1 person didn't turn around

  • This song is about the love of a man for a woman. What can be creepy about that?

  • @drtkw 9/10 says its because this was the reoccurring song in final destination 3.

  • The most appealing and sincere version I know, of a beautiful song reminiscent of loftier times.

  • Turn around, BAM....i'm dead...you are nexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • Final Destination makes me paranoid to turn around.

  • Now we're all gonna die:)

  • I've never seen FD3, but I have always loved this awesome song. Great harmonies.

  • Watch this song then read the story "BEN(A.k.a majoras mask haunting" from creepy noodle at night and i can almost guarantee you be scared to death

  • Fall of '67, this was a masterpiece--beautifully arranged & sung. Vogues, Forever. Wolfsky9

  • I seriously get creeped when I listen to this song., Damn Final Destination. >.<

  • All because of Final Destination 3....I get paranoid and turn around.

  • watched final destination 3 on fx last night

  • @SirSilentkill i did too

  • 1. Download this song on MP3 player.

    2. Find busy sidewalk.

    3. Pick someone to stalk.

    4. Play this song as loud as you can; remain completely emotionless if they look towards you, as if you're not the one playing it.

    5. Watch them start walking faster.

  • Ahh...1968. doesn't get any sweeter than that.

  • sick fucks-it's a beautiful song -fucking crack heads.-go back to the ghetto.

  • Its the theme song on final destination 3

  • There are a few here who need medication! To even connect some negative thoughts to this shows your sick! The crap here takes the prize.Seek help before you spin out!

  • i was 13 when i first heard this song and i still love it

  • this song isn't about a stalker, its about a guy showing a girl that he loves her.

  • *turns around* AHHH! oh hi scarey ghost who looks like the grudge...thought you were justin bieber.

  • Thanks for the upload.

  • @ShaneModeling I totally agree. lmfao. (:

  • This was a very important song to two friends of mine, and it's still very important to them.

  • Is it impossible to simply say "I don't care for this song" instead of launching a profanity (usually poorly worded profanity) laced tirade about the singer, the singer's age, race or gender?

There is a LOT of music I don't like but millions of others do, so I let them listen to it while I just avoid it.

  • The song doesn't fit in these times..I thinkin abduction here...

  • Ah a Hit very nice this is better verison on last you tube no sound like this.....and its a song folks gee they could be sayin look at me like her boyfriend are the man above too....

  • @dnm805 to me lady gaga is creepy lol

  • @dnm805

Have you seen Final Destination 3?

It's scarier than the first Final Destination movie.

    Especially the tanning beds scene.

Pretty music can seem creepy when used in certain ways, as this music is in Final Destination 3.

  • @barichm0 well put young one. At least you get it...

  • @ShaneModeling creepy? you're an idiot an a naive fool! learn to appreciate beautiful music ass clown

  • such a beautiful powerful song. great vocals too. classic and best version in my opinion :)

  • These guys definitely sing the best version of this song.

  • Thanks for all that information, Boswell69. It's so interesting.

  • I like this song. Thank you.

  • It's called a song message how Males & Females used to meet, fall in love, marry, etc,& make babies should you ignorant kids could be born to exist today

  • Flirting creepy? No. Someone following you to your home? Yes. This song in proper context by people should be viewed as flirting. It's call pre-courtship idiot kids today. Of course you young idiots are brainwashed by being way too "Politically Correct" with everything. Including any content message,

  • Love this song. I remember it from High School - 40 years ago.

  • it was Final Desdination 3

  • This song was also used in a movie, that I can't recall the name of. Great song, great era to grow up in. Remember this song on the jukebox and got played a lot. Thanks for posting it for us.

  • @bfason It was a great era, music-wise, although I would have preferred growing up in the soda shop days. Like the movie Pleasantville. Why did they call soda jerks, jerks? Fake cherry and vanilla in Coca Cola is jerky; the soda jerks used genuine flavors. And there ain't nuthin' like the real thing, baby. I miss marshmallow sundaes and root beer floats. That's why kids today use drugs; a trend that started in the 60's when ice cream sundaes became extinct. Bring back the ice cream social.

  • This song was also used in a movie, that I can't recall the name of. Great song, great era to grow up in. Remember this song on the jukebox and got played a lot. Thanks for posting it for us.

  • This beautiful song had been removed as the person I had gotten it through has gone off YouTube. Thank you so much for having this absolutely beautiful love song. This is what love is supposed to be - beautiful, kind, and honest with each other. Thank you so much for this post.

  • damn final destination has completely warped the meaning of this song for me haha..

  • @VidsRHot me too i thought this was a scary song lmao

  • o/` There is someone walking behind you

    Turn arooouund, look at meeeeee

    Now back at your man

    Now back at meeee

    I'm on a hoorrrrrse! o/`

  • @face4radio BEST. COMMENT. EVER ♥

  • THIS IS PURE 60'S MUSIC, LISTEN TO THESE 4 GUYS BELT THIS SONG OUT AND THE BACKUP MUSIC YOU CAN'T BEAT. THIS WAS ONE THE FIRST 45'S I GOT AND STILL HAVE AND IT STILL SOUND GREAT.

  • A magical time . . . time of "splender and glory" . . . Wadsworth.

  • Underestimated song That says all

  • This is just a great song, a true love ballad. Stop looking for something that is not there. Just enjoy.

  • It is just a great love ballad. Stop looking for something hidden that is not there.

  • This is a love song about one individual letting the other know they may not appreciate them. It does not mean that person is a stalker. Let's not dissect it to the point of perversion. At least, that's my humble interpretation. Back in the day I thought it was just a beautiful love ballet. .My, God, give us all a break! Get a life!

  • This song came out in the Final Destination movie and yet I think this version more creepier

  • @MonkeyLucy1 creepy? you're an idiot an a naive fool! learn to appreciate beautiful music ass clown

  • One of the most romantic songs ever made. Thanks for posting.

  • One of the most romantic songs ever made.

  • once in a ilfe time song....awesome!

  • to the impure and perverted, all things are perverted.

  • God, I pity the kids of today that have seen a film or video game that Misuses such a romantic song of such vocal power from 1968 that depicts the Lonely Heart longing for a love that they will never know.... , and these kids' 1st memory will forever be a "Creepy" one,-how sad....

  • This isn't about a stalker, its about love not realized. I'm sure we have all felt that at one time in our lives and we did stalk but not in an evil way lol. We just tried to be where that person was, hoping they would notice us. When this song was popular stalking never entered the mind, it was just romantic.

  • @Tonithenightowl : Amen, You have hit the theme behind the song right,

  • @300bowler2 I don't know much about today's music but if you grew up in the 60's I think we were exposed to some of the greatest romantic ballads of all time. Granted love could still hurt but they had songs to help you get over that too lol The Vogues were one of my all time favorite bands and all you cared about was being asked to dance when their songs played lol thanks for responding

  • @Tonithenightowl You are so right. As a guy who really grew up in the 60's, I, for one, appreciate your comment.

    Joseph F

    Portland, OR USA

  • @B52sguy Well it was a special time for music, hands down. A more innocent time perhaps but then we were called the "love generation". I think we are the only ones that hold that title and I'm proud of it. It showed we were tired of the opposite of love. Thanks for responding.

  • There is no substitute for vocal talent, it's becoming a lost art. Thanks for posting this classic.

  • Creepiest song ever. >.< It gives me the chills.

  • @MrChicken444

    Your the creep!!!

  • @skipper8257 You're creepy for know I'm that creep!!

  • @MrChicken444 creepy? you're an idiot an a naive fool! learn to appreciate beautiful music ass clown

  • @dnm805 Oh I'm sorry I don't take everything seriously. I didn't mean to sound like a 'beautiful ass clown'. What does that even mean?

  • @dnm805 there is someone who loves me turn around

  • @ SILENTFACES : What an IGNORANT REMARK for a CLASSIC SONG that sold over a million copies back in the fabulous year of 1968. The VOGUES are singing about a girl WHO HAS NOT EVEN NOTICED THEM ! A girl is WELL AWARE of a stalker !

  • what a great song for stalkers lol

  • goto youtube.com/watch?v=G_oqIMAUAW0&feature=feedf

and post LGBTeens in the comments

  • sorry guys but... its creepy! really! it's freaking me out, I love the movie... but its creepy just like the song... that's why they chose it!

ps: sorry for my terrible english! =S

  • @Tinkiwinky666 This is a fantastic oldie that is not at all creepy to me, but I've not seen the movie. When this song was released, I was about 9 years old, and felt no need to be scared. lol kids

  • @takemeback2 yeah lol, maybe... you really have to watch the movie... I mean if you like terror movies of course... ;D

then you will see this song way to different!! =S wich is not exactly a good thing soo.... =S

  • i dont see this as a romance song, it is really creepy. every song has a diffrent viewpoint on it. you guys getting mad that this is considered more scary than "romantic" need to get over it lol.

  • This is to ShoiiSauce, ricardodelima11: You 2 need to get a life ! ! ! ! ! There is nothing sugestive about a shower scene. Something perverted about your statement. Get your mind out of the gutter. Change your so called " mind set ", what ever the hell that is ! ! ! Of course, ricardodelima11, mabey you should think of better grammer. Is your choice of words so narrow ? ? This GREAT song should have never been put in that movie. I'm surprised the boys let it go on to the screen.

  • Fuck.... i will die now.. HOW??HOW???OMG This song again..
