Did anyone else always have the feeling that Cut Man was "the first boss"? =P

I really don't know why, but I have always thought of him as the origin of all Mega Man bosses - his stage, his character, his theme music... everything about him just screams "I'm the FIRST one!", and indeed he does have a product number that puts him right after Proto Man, Mega Man and Roll.

I also always had a feeling the Guts Man came right after him, and even his product number agrees with this.

I would agree, most people took Cut man out on there first try, not only that his stage was probably the easiest to run through your first time playing as well. Fire mans had all the flames, bombman had those nasty walnut things that shot you and you died instantly on spikes, ice man was slippery and elec man was just a pain in the ass haha.
