Probably many Dads sang this to their daughters. My Dad sang this to me in
the 1930s when I was a kid. We lived in Johannesburg then.What heartwarming memories. Thanks for sharing

My Dad always sings this! He is 87 years old, has had Parkinsons for the last 22 years, but still sings his heart out. It's like he is in a different body when he sings. I'm playing it now for him. Nice that you post this : )
