Malmsteen undoubtedly influenced countless players with his approach to the instrument, so no surprise when someone "compares" someone using similar note structures, BUT what we don't get from David's playing is the unpalatable ANGER and cockyness that enters almost every Malmsteen composition. Instead we get a great mastery of a similarly influenced style, with a sense of melodic, EMOTIONALLY driven direction, with DYNAMICS, and great arranging skills. Listenable, and never boring.

Muy bueno, como siempre David. Me gusta que siempre hay mucha melodia en tu forma de tocar. Me recuerdas en tu fraseo a todos los guitarristas que citas como influencias, pero especialmente al Vinnie Moore de la primera época.

¿Por qué no cuelgas algún video haciendo alguna versión? Lo primero es tu propia música claro, pero a mi me encantaría verte también haciendo algun temita de otros . Saludos.

Incredible...a great mix of styles, and this song reminds me a bit of Petrucci's Damage Control, which also has that eastern feel to it (and is one of my favourite guitar pieces).
