  • Poor Cyberman

  • A good recreation you made there. I love the use of the Blu-Tack.

  • WOW!

  • Is that commissioner Gordon as Gregory?

  • @sphereballs It's a custom figure made by batmanmarch, and it was used as Commissioner Gordon in Batman:The Man Who Laughs.

  • THAT......was......HILARIOUS!!

  • Congratulations that was brilliant! I have always liked The Invasion - it is my favourite Cyberman story.

It would be wonderful to see an animated reconstructtion of 'The Ice Warriors' and if the frames were based on the original telesnaps it would lend a great deal of authenticity to the presentation.

  • There was a rumour that Cosgrove Hall were going to re-animated episodes 2 and 3 of "The Ice Warriors".

  • Some very nice stop go animation there. Have you considered doing some animated scenes from missing episodes? They could be VERY fun to watch. You did a very nice job acting out all the parts.

    Cheers,

    Aaron

  • Thanks! I have thought about doing some missing episodes. It would be quite a big job to do but would be interestting. I can't promise anything at the moment but it is something I'm thinking about.

  • WOW

  • did u know that the first part of this story 'the invasion' was cartoon becasue the bbc lost the tape to show that episode

  • Yes, I rused to watch the story with just Nicholas Courtney filling in the gaps so I was over the moon when the BBC decided to animate the missing episodes. I hope they do that with some other stories.

  • where did you get the sound from

  • How did you get that gun smoke effect?!

  • There's a great site called detonation films, which supply lots of free effects. I put the effect into Sony Vegas Pro 8 and thats it! I'll be using a few more bits and pieces like that in my new series in August.

  • What effects did you use for the shooting gun?

  • Detonation films and Sony Vegas Pro 8

  • Amazing! on the DVD of that episode half of it is in cartoon

  • Thanks!

  • I like how you had the electrode drag down a bit on the Cyberman's head, like in the episode. :)

  • I was wondering if anyone would notice that!

  • One thing I dislike of this story was they pulled a Davros here, Vorghn and that whimp, Packer, got most of the attention, and the Cybermen hardly spoke, and when they did, they sounded like bionic chipmunks, which is reatained with the Cybrus Cybermen, another con towards them. :P

  • cool but sometimes it's hard to tear the voices apart LOVED IT! 5/5 FAV!

  • really good re-creation, well done

  • Thank you!

  • Thanks. I need to start work on my own series and so won't have the space or time to keep making a new set each week. Plus I have sixteen episodes of my own series to shoot so its going to be a lot of work!

  • This is just amazing. I love this Troughton story.

  • Thanks. Troughton was such a great Doctor and a brilliant actor. Its a crime that most of his stories are gone. I long to see Power and Evil of the Daleks properly! It would be a dream come true!

  • Troughton's my second favourite Doctor. You planning on doing any scene-renactments from Tomb of the cybermen?

  • This is my last one for the time being. However, I will be making a three part Patrick Troughton story featuring the Cybermen in a month or so.

  • I look forward to seeing it.

  • I have a four part William Hartnell story coming out first, then the Pat Troughton story, then a four part Colin Baker story and finally a five part Jon Pertwee story with the Master.

  • Thank you! When I made it I had the DVD on trying to capture each shot and movement as close as possible. Thanks!

  • Thank you, i am not bosting, but i think that you will not be ashaed, unless i have camera problems, which could happen because the only camera i have is my phone and i can't afford a cam-corder, what do you use?

  • I use a sony handycam DCR-HC24E.

  • ow, will a phone camera look ok on the internet, it is a sony ericson cyber-shot so it is made for filming

  • Wow, can't wait for your episodes, i'm starting soon, but not sore when, hopefully soon because im getting a lot of figures soon, as a very late birthday present. You have inspired me to make them so thank you very much. Mine will not ever be as good, but, i think that they should be good enough

  • amazing work i absolutly love that story

  • Thanks mate. Its a brilliant story, its just a shame episodes 1 and 4 are gone. But at least we have the animated recreations on the DVD!

  • Wow....what a brilliant re-creation, and certainly one of the best you have done. I loved the fact that it was made in black and white, and like your upcoming adventures, will be awsome. It's a shame that it is your last scene re-creation, though they were brilliant, and again, am looking forward to your own episodes.

  • Thanks, I'll be posting the teaser for my own series in two weeks time!

  • Brilliant! I enjoyed it a lot.

  • Thank you!

  • Wow, that was great! It was brilliantly made :) 10/10! Shame you arent doing any more, they were brilliant! :)

  • Why in't he doing any more?

Anyway, fantastic video, 5 stars :-)
