Not lag free when I recorded it, due to the harddrive lag. Basicaly FRAPS records it as fast as your harddrive will let it, and being a 7200RPM, it cant do it all that fast. However, yes I can easily play it lag-free.
well, theres 4600RPM (mostly 1.8" drives) 5200RPM (older 3.5" and most 2.5" drives), 7200RPM (most 3.5" drives) 10,000 RPM (high performance) and even 15,000 RPM drives (enterprise high end), though there's supposed to be faster, WD said they plan on a 20,000RPM drive for the mainstream market (high end, consumer) within the next couple of years. but no, 7200 RPM is average rotation, and thanks to super-high data density, they're about as fast as 2005's 10k RPM harddrives.
I play at 1280x1024 on very high @ usually around 27 fps average. This video is 11fps because of the recording. I usually play at 1680x1050 on high with about the same fps.
Wow so you play everything on very high?? And on what reso is that? How would it play on 1280x800? Could you check it out for me? Just say the fps, Thx in advance man.
Nice movie, worth every second, sound is on a low volume though, but it doesnt matter :)
