You must change their hearts through them seeing how you live and teaching them in love. Not forcing it down their throat through politics. I abhor abortion, but I also know that if it was made illegal more children would fill the orphanages. These orphanages are already filled to near overflowing, and Christian parents are not adopting these kids. I also know that abortions would go underground, and more women would die from poor surgical conditions. Can you not love and change hearts?
@annathefallen It is a lie of the devil that women will be forced to go undergound and die due to poor surgical conditions. If it were illegal all throughout the country there would be more women having and raising children, which God wants and which He will protect. I am in the adoption business. Don't tell me there are Christians who will not adopt if there were more children available. That's the problem now. There are more people wanting children than there are children available. I love U 2
@whatthingssoever If that was true then why are the Arkansas orphanages full. Don't try to tell me they aren't because I've worked with several of them in the state. (I know for a fact the orphanage and foster system is overtaxed all over this land.)
@annathefallen Just have them go to Arkansas Pregnancy Resource Center at #3 Office Park Drive, Little Rock, AR. It is run by the Catholic Church as a Non-Profit 501c3. They have maybe 40 to one adoptive parents to babies. If you know of babies who need to be adopted then call them. Their number is 501-227-7994. My father was adopted. I fight against the spirit of abortion every day of my life to see that babies are protected and that families are healed and life is chosen over death. Call them
The Tea Party, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and other political pundits/parties are leading Christian men and women down the wrong path. They are becoming nothing more than hate filled people with a hatred for "liberals", Muslims, gays, and even the poor, sick, and elderly. Don't get me wrong, I don't believe the left leaning Christians are in the right either, but they aren't out there pushing hate in the name of Christ. You don't reach people for Christ through legalistic means.
@annathefallen Don't hate on those who preach and teach the truth. Someone needs to do that, and we who are Christians appreciate truth being told about all issues that effect life and relationships.
America was not and never will be a Christian nation, especially not through political action. Our history shows the US constantly sinning and prescribing that sin to a Creator. They fought and killed other Christians because they didn't want to pay taxes. They murdered, raped, and broke treaties with the natives. They allowed a form of slavery that made men and women no better than cattle. At least the Roman slaves had some rights including rights to property.
@annathefallen Yes it is. We who are Christians and who are not putting our heads in the sand know how this nation was formed and what makes it such a blessed place. Are you a Muslim? What is your beef with America and Christians? Who taught you what you believe?
@whatthingssoever Pure lies taught by the false civic religion masquerading as Christianity. I grew up in the church, and I took on Christ in baptism on my 21st birthday. On that day my allegiance changed from a citizen of the USA to a citizen of the kingdom of God.
@annathefallen So the part about occupy until He returns means what to you? God has His right hand; the Church, and His left hand; the State. Moses was in government as was Daniel, Joseph, Jeremiah, David, Joshua, Nehemiah, Nathan, Nebuchadnezzar, Deborah, Matthew, Solomon, Jehoshaphat and many others, and Jesus said that the Government shall be on our shoulder; the Church's shoulders. If we Christians don't make a stand for how God wants things to be run then everyone is in trouble.
@annathefallen I went to your channel to see who you are, but all I could find was a bunch of messed up music in your favorites; except for VancePerry's Sweet Hour of Prayer-Barbershop Chorus Song which was great. Maybe you should make a video yourself concerning things that are important to you so we can all see who you are and what you stand for. Then your criticism of me might be a little bit less and your wisdom may be a little bit more. Identify yourself. Stop peeping and hiding.
I did go to school and study world and US history, Bible, and some political science. Most of the conservative politicians are trying to instigate something close to fascism. If you look at the way Christians were living in the early parts of Acts, it'd be closer to socialism or communism without the political aspect.
When we took on Christ in baptism, we changed our allegiances and became resident aliens here. Christ didn't give us political mandates. HE told us to LOVE and be salt and light.
@annathefallen Did Christ instruct us to occupy until He returns? What does that mean to you? Should we let the secularist, Muslims and atheists run things like they are in Europe now? Or do you think that Chrisitian values are good enough to be faught for and, if need be, die for?
@whatthingssoever Increase the the numbers of believers by LIVING the teachings he has given us and using what we are given to the glory of God, our Father. That does not mean that we use it to have dominion over nonbelievers. No matter who is in the government, if we believe in Christ Jesus and are living as we should be, God is in control. I believe that Christ's example is not one of physical violence to spread HIS word, but we are to be ready to die for those beliefs at any moment.
@annathefallen Dominion? Physical violence? Who said anything about either of those? We say Jesus is Lord, and we who are Christians are to make a difference where they are planted. This video is about telling the voters of Little Rock that there is a sales tax hike proposal, and that I am against the tax hike. Your idea that Christians should not talk with other Christians about issues in the city where they live, raise families and buy their goods and services is curious to me.Do U reside n LR?
@annathefallen Absolutely. God has His right hand, The Church, and His left hand which is the state. If we Christian do a poor job with how we vote we all are in trouble. Case in point with Obama and all of the ungodly liberals in high offices who are taking this country down the road to socialism and sinful laws such as abortion and same sex marriage. God had Daniel, Joseph, David and Moses in politics. Where do you think all laws come from if not from God and His people who vote and pray?
@annathefallenThe 501c3 status that our ministry has now can go back to the government if they want it. That would not stop our preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We serve the Lord, not the government. But while we are here we will speak as Oracles of God to those who are in leadership of our government.Just like God told Jeremiah to tell those who were in exile to Babylon, they were to work, prosper and help the government do well where they were sent. We will do the same til Christ returns
Also, I really think you need to look up what socialism means. I do not vote because of my faith in Christ Jesus, because he left us with a different example to follow. For the first almost 4 centuries, Christianity was pacifistic and apolitical. It was the influence of the evil Roman empire that brought politics into the church of Christ. Christ told us to render to Caesar what is Caesars, and we are not Caesar to set laws and push the morality of Christ Jesus through laws and politics.
@annathefallen Socialism is a form of government that many good men and women have died to keep from coming into this country. We have forms of it already, but capitalism is still the most dominate and fair system that exists. It is not perfect but it is much better than the system that runs much of Europe and in Islamic countries. I choose the free market system over socialism. Morality of Jesus Christ and the Bible is what all laws are based on in America. Don't forget that.
@whatthingssoever Capitalism is antithetical to what Christ preached and left as an example. We have a history of what free market did before regulations were put in place, and it is not pretty. I'd take a socialistic society above a fascist one that masks it's hatred using Christ Jesus' name.
@annathefallen Jesus promoted multiplication not divison. When He was given the fish and loaves He blessed and multiplied it so that others would benefit. He had leftovers too. If he had given what He was given then not nearly as many would have been blessed. Capitalism has its problems, but it is the fairest and wisest system mankink has. Show me a country that lives by pure socialism and I will show you Islam, total tyranny, no liberty and failure. We deserve better in America.
